Las Vegas has dozens of clubs and many have hundreds of reviews for each. I'm sure if you scan the reviews they will let you know if the club serves alcohol and if they have private booths. Even the club's description page has that information and you don't have to be a vip to read the club's description page.
Personally, I have not been to a Vegas strip club in more than 15 years because I prefer to indulge my other vice (gambling) while in Vegas.

About California, the state alcohol licensing rules prohibit full nudity when you have alcohol. And as this can be enforced without anything like a jury trial, rarely do you find it being violated.
So the best action in clubs will usually be where there is no alcohol.
You post is confusing, not sure if you are talking about LA or Las Vegas.
In Las Vegas most clubs with alcohol are only topless. The Palamino is a grandfathered in exception.
For myself, I would be at a maximum mileage club, and likely that would be one without alcohol.
