I do have a certain ritual that I follow before dates.

It's well accepted that testosterone is released during deep sleep and I stay off the caffeine the day before and get to sleep on time. Day of the date I like to do a lot of cycling in the morning. Not clear if that releases testosterone, but it definitely stirs up the endorphins. Also like to eat light and low-fat that day so that blood goes were it's supposed to go instead of your digestive system.

A few days of abstention, and some pre-date porn, has been the winning formula for me. I would definitely NOT go to a strip club beforehand: at a place like Follies I'd just be frustrated at not being able to indulge, and at any other place, I do not need to see and touch stripper-beautiful 20-year-olds before I go on a date with a 45-year-old.

No, not a humble brag, and when finishing takes a while there are often a couple of stops and restarts involved (or just the need for rest).

Update: following several of the suggestions (the several days to a week abstinence was already taken care of), I was able to achieve the goal of CIM in a reasonable amount of time. She was very pleased with herself. :-)

All the prep work also seemed to make getting started additional times easier, but finishing a second or more time was still problematic. I know we hear that women want men to last longer, but I think there is a point where they lose patience and just want you to be done.

@flagooner yeah, I knew the abstinence one already :-) violated it several times in the past, much to my detriment.

I changed what I ate and drank yesterday, and it seemed to make a difference - I was energized after dinner instead of lethargic. I skipped using a strip club as a fluffer, and at the very least it helped my wallet. I watched porn, but I picked videos that reminded me of her - similar appearance or situation.

She remarked about how ready I was for her, and fessed up to the porn watching. She asked to watch too, so that helped get things started again later.
