To put it simply so even a brainwashed socialist may understand:
A libertarian believes that the an individual is better able to make their own decisions about their own life. As long as it does not interfere with society or another individual they are to be left alone.
In other words the government has not right to dictate to me what charities I donate to. The government (for example) has no right to force me to pay for genocide(planned parenthood) which was started and continues to be an instrument of eugenics that slaughters the children of the poor and uneducated rather than helping them to be educated and forcing responsibility for their actions(name the father and force him to support the child, he and the mother are being provided a consequence free environment where their actions trigger no responsibility).
@TT: Hey didn't Ayn Rand declare that since Quantum Mechanics was inconsistent with her philosophy that it was Quantum Mechanics that must be wrong? Real "Objectivity" there, no?
