The other *almost* choice was that "Dominionist" Raphael Edward Cruz. More lube in that guy's hair than UGK.22 ever put in his condom.

LOL!

The study's author is an 86 year old social psychologist in California who specializes in racism. I wonder who he voted for.

I thought all trump supporters were nazi's or white supremacist's? This guy clearly isn't on the ball, and seems to be just making stuff up for interweb clicks.

I'd vote for almost any poster on this board over Hillary. SJG might have even won over Hillary. At least SGJ didn't say he'd like to do away with our second amendment rights and allow open borders to South America letting drug cartels and anyone into the country. Of course nowadays when you read news stories, you don't always know if it's fake news or real news. I did wonder if there was a secret conspiracy by the far left to do away with our gun rights by staging mass shootings and blame it on deranged individuals. I have noticed there have been none in the news since the people in charge changed. I do not trust our government to always do what is right.

I was in my hotel room surfing the channels when I came to a "Highly Acclaimed" "Multiple Star Power" movie called 'last supper' being touted.
It is a movie where a group of over young lazy over-educated socialist world government liberal turds lie to and "befriend" a "conservative" who is portrayed as a male working class white supremacist racist then invites him to a dinner party with his new "friends" where they poison him and make fun of him while he dies all the while declaring their superiority and their obligation to rid the world of all people who dare to have a different view from theirs. This "wonderful movie" was made in the nineties by some of the same stars who are now calling for the torture and murder of anyone who disagrees with their elitist world view!
The Elites have always wanted to silence and murder any disagreement with the course of feudalism they wish the country to proceed with them in absolute power. They have just now made it public knowledge. They have a gall to brand a conservatives as NAZIs, where do you see ANY conservative of libertarian spewing hatred and calling for murder of anyone who disagrees with their philosophy.
Funny thing NAZI stand for national SOCIALIST! There was not capitalism in NAZI Germany ALL business was owned my the government of government cronies.
I make no secret of my views but I have never and never advocate murder of a different view.
I will however ask for prosecution of politician who steal and demand the rule be the same for everyone. I po's me that congress and many bureaucrats are exempt from insider trading laws and obamacare and many other laws. Congress is exempt from discrimination laws, OSHA, minimum wage to name a few. Why?? Why do they get a full pension payment after "serving" no matter their age when I have to be 67 to get any pension benefit that I have paid for from my wages??

^^^He could go on a diet that would shut me up, but that would mean the man would need to use impulse control, which he apparently is unable to.

For God's sake, @TiredArgument, I've seen that movie and it's supposed to be pure satire, poking fun at any form of intolerance. The movie does not champion liberals murdering white supremacists. Do you always take things so literally? Are you really that dense? The movie is making fun of the liberal students. The movie takes your point of view that liberals are intolerant hypocrites.

DUH!!

This nation was founded on the belief of individual liberty, limited government, and the equality of all. Over the last 75 years ( starting with FDR), this has become a nation of government control and a belief that some citizens deserve better treatment than others, where bureaucrats determine the winners and losers.
President Trump is trying to return us to those original principles. I don't care if he is 400 pounds or if some pearl clutchers find him rude. As long as he opposes the self-proclaimed elite, I'll stick with him.

mark94: " As long as he opposes the self-proclaimed elite"

Now that's the funniest thing I've read in a long time! Yep, Trump is really "for the people" against "the elites".

There's a reason that the coal miners, factory workers, and farmers.........the working people, support him. There's a reason the liberal elite and pajama boys hate him.
Half the population relies on government support and the other half works to pay for it.
Obama stood for the first half, Trump stands for the second half.

I saw just the thing to help Mr Trump. Absafter40.

Trump can get pumped up and in shape. Then maybe he can pump up jobs and the economy. It might be easier to hire me and give me a sign on bonus and a team to quickly study health care and come up with a plan. Obviously much harder to come up with a plan to get the people to call and bug their respective congressmen to support it. We will need buy in from the people and then congress will buy in. It's what Ronald Reagan did. I see tax cuts and health care premiums as the same thing, cost benefit analysis help for the masses to boost the economy.

SJG: I never said I wanted to live "without government". I said I wanted to live with limited government. I would be very happy in that event. So would most of the population, except those who think someone else should pay their bills.

But mark94, first of all, this is a democracy. What we get is what people vote for. None of us have the option of just seceding.

Second, industrial capitalism will never be able to create enough jobs. We are doing irrevocable and needless environmental damage just by maintaining as many jobs as we now have. We use jobs to regulate the population.

So we do need to expand and maintain some sort of a welfare state. There is no other choice. But just as it is with jobs, welfare as it is now, exists to regulate the poor, not to provide for the needs of the poor.

"limited government"

Yes, but you are asking for a kind of limited government which guarantees that an increasing portion of the population will live in dire conditions and be exploited. That is unfair, immoral, and beyond a point people cannot be duped into voting for it, or into supporting it even if people do vote for it.

We haven't had an industrial economy since about 1970. We have a service economy. Teachers, hair dressers, financial consultants, software engineers. These jobs don't ravage the environment. In fact, the taxes they pay allow us to clean things up.
With unemployment under Trump at 4.2%, I think it's a little premature to plan for a world without jobs.
san_jose_guy

No, most people, by far, do far more environmental damage just by driving their cars to work, than any social benefit obtained by the paid job that they do.

Our society will be better when we have less such jobs, and stop making it a matter of public policy just to create jobs to enforce the work ethic.

Now some of the money these people are paid is then collected in taxes, and then it recirculates.

But this does not mean that this is the only way for the government to get cash flow.

The offical unemployment rate greatly underestimates our employment situation. And then the underempoyment rate has got to be at least 60%.

So, your utopia is a world without children or jobs, but a government printing money. You really need to take a couple economics courses.

@Randommember @Dougster, the real problem with the Psychoanalysis of Trump supporters, unlike conservatives or liberals they really have very few core principals beyond what's in it for me, and that type of thinking makes it easy for con men like Donald Trump, to make them look at the image in the mirror, and not realize they are looking at a totally manipulated image, the real Donald Trump is a fucking bullshit artist. One day these suckers are going to get a hard dose of reality and flip out.
By the same token these Trump hardcore supporters are almost humorless they don't realize who is laughing at them, not with them, Donald Trump himself.
Don't believe me check out Donald's buddies over the years, people like Howard Stern, his former partners in Atlantic City, the former employees of the failed Trump University, listen to what they are saying and get the real picture there is a lot out there and most of it is not positive towards him.
san_jose_guy

mark94, I'm not talking about any utopia. And there are going to be children and jobs, no matter what you or I say. And the government does print money continually. Sometimes it uses ink on paper, but other times it just does it by selling T-Bills or adjusting interest rates.

The issue here is doing all of this so that it finally works for everybody, instead of saying that some people are good and some people are bad, and believing that this will work.

And I largely agree with @twentyfive.
