PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries has proposed a $1 million award to a second woman who worked at a Beaverton strip club while underage.

The agency began an investigation in 2015, alleging civil rights violations against two minors who worked at Stars Cabaret.

The club recently agreed to pay $1.25 million to a dancer it employed in 2012 when she was 13.

The proposed order filed Wednesday says Stars Cabaret and a manager are jointly liable for sexual harassment of the second victim, who was 15 when she worked there.

The club and the manager are allowed to file objections to the proposed order.

The mom of a 15 year old working at one of the Detroit clubs needs to see this! Then again the owner is in jail and the club has been padlocked, for a few year now!

It's impossible to tell for sure from this brief news article. However, the words used suggests that the monetary awards were negotiated rather than unilaterally imposed. If so, it suggests that the money may actually be paid.

Would this not be the perfect idea for a 16/17 girl to find some club to work, and later let it be known that she was underage, and be awarded a huge paycheck?

Well actually @JS69 I bet the lawyers get 1/3 right off the top than they add in their expenses and actual billable hours which generally are padded by some ridiculous amount and the plaintiff will probably end up with a quite reduced amount plus if it is classified as a payment in lieu of wages rather than an awarded judgement she may even owe taxes on the money so I don't think that is really a tremendous payoff.
