The only comedian I can remember openly admitting on his live cable show is Bill Maher's stance on how he and I like prostitutes. The difference was that I don't frequent them and Bill Maher states he does on his show. I only stayed I like them but not for sex.

But the author John O'Brien killed himself when he learned that the novel would be made into a movie.
I've read one of his others, "Stripper Lessons", set in Los Angeles. Its good. It ends with some light in it too.
