  The Leaving Las Vegas novel is even better, it makes the characters more understandable. And Uri is an equal third character.
  
  But the author John O'Brien killed himself when he learned that the novel would be made into a movie.
  
  I've read one of his others, "Stripper Lessons", set in Los Angeles. Its good. It ends with some light in it too.
  
  Our own Founder now lists himself as being in Las Vegas. I think his avatar picture is one I've seen before, a fisheye lense book cover photo of Hunter S. Thompson.

  The only comedian I can remember openly admitting on his live cable show is Bill Maher's stance on how he and I like prostitutes. The difference was that I don't frequent them and Bill Maher states he does on his show. I only stayed I like them but not for sex.
  
  Only a low life creep would habitually ask this of others. Sex, religion, and politics should be kept private. I never asked Bill Maher why he would want to borrow my furnished apartment when he has relatives/friends in New York visiting him. He usually only needs it for a couple hours, so he tells me. I don't ask, and he doesn't tell!

  First time I visited one of our underground places, Latinas who come and go as they please, taking guys to motels, doing home sessions, and generally seeking to fuck as many guys as possible and loving it, I learned to like them. They are a trip.
  
  Now white kicker girls, that would be a different matter, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and getting saved. I'll pass on that.

  What's with this obsession about labels? Why are we so consumed with political correctness? It's a fact that if you get paid for sexual favors, you're a prostitute by definition so what is wrong with calling a spade a spade? In this case she is a prostitute so the only reason for not calling her that is because you want to pander to her emotional side so you can make her your girlfriend.

  ^^^I doubt very much that Gassagain is Gaffigan if you go back a bit in posts to where he said he was going to The Body Club in Miami I corresponded with him he told me he would let me know when he would be there then he posted about being there after the fact so I PMed him he made some lame excuses about being busy and forgetting to let me know. I call bullshit on him.
  BTW the real Gaffigan is listed on Forbes as having earned 12 million last year I can't imagine a guy with that kind of loot carrying on a feud with such a nobody like SJG.

  It appears he has besmirched the name of Bill Maher more than my name. At least I never have visited an AAMP while married, unlike SJG whom has openly reported visiting prostitutes(AAMP) before his failed marriage was over.
