Have not been to the LA area where I could hit some clubs for a while, but my chance is coming in July. What clubs should I hit for good dances and a friendly atmosphere?

Although the COI has better clubs, there is always Sahara & Flamingo (aka The Dirty Bird) for a cheap HM good time.
Don't forget TJ two hours south, depending upon what you're looking for.

In Anaheim try Sahara. Girls are typically in the 5-8 range, but most anything can be negotiated. It's owned by the same guy who owns Synn & Paradise in the COI.
