I am beginning something I haven't tried before and I want some advice from the serious mongers on here, not the Fruit Loops crowd. I took a chance on a posting in Craig's list that looks like a real person. We have exchanged several E-mails and she is quite knowledgeable about my local area. She writes well and claims to be educated. She(?) has euphemistically indicated a "mutually satisfying" relationship. I assume this is pay for play or Sugar Daddy stuff. She(?) claims to be 23. We have arranged to meet ,in a public place, next Thursday. I guess I know I can handle my business but I wonder if there is anything I have missed? What are the odds she(?) is a guy? What are the odds she is a pig? Does anyone care to hear how it turns out? I have not asked for a picture or a description as that could all be faked. I figure a two hour lunch meeting with an escape clause (work) should be sufficient to suss this out. If not please let me know.

I can't tell you how many times back in the day I'd talk to someone on AM, hit it off really well then finally get a photo and be so disappointed I wouldnt even respond.
Not always the case but a lot of times if a woman doesn't want to show her photo she's ugly. I did meet three total smoking hot babes that were very reluctant to show their photos, BUT I always had a photo before we met. I probably talked to over 30 that turned out to be hideous, not just "meh okay" but hideous. So I guess I was running about 10% hot girls.
I get pretty bored at times traveling for work and I've downloaded so many apps on my phone to kill time... and craigslist was one of them at a time. I used to browse the ads in different towns looking for something that I collect. Of course I'd browse the personals too and man people on there were fucking creepy.
One time I was in a small rural town and someone described me to a "T" in the missed connections section. There were two gorgeous girls working at this same store so I actually reponded out of curiosity, only time I ever reponded to a personal on there. Turns out it wasn't either of the girls I thought were hot and I wasn't the guy either. The girl described what area of the store she worked in and I even snuck in a week later to catch a glimpse - she was butt ugly. Oh well - I had hoped it was the 20 year old that was a 10 working at the check out counter! Lol
*Always* get a pic. Have her hold up some number of fingers, or a recognizable magazine cover, or something else not easily photoshopped.
I have successfully engaged from CL, but it's a rare thing to have it turn out to be all on the up and up.
That's the case where small town women just don't have access much to the outside world other than the grocery store so they have to resort to online options like Craigslist or match.com for an encounter.
In a large cities women and men have a ton of things at their disposal to socialize. Therefore the serial killers pretty on Craigslist for a vulnerable retard. Okay maybe not the severe but you get he idea.
Never did escorts either. That always seemed sketchy to me also.
Anyways, this is why I've always preferred the strip club. I got to see what the girl looked like before any VIP action. If you like it, then you can always try for the OTC action after sampling the girl's wares.
To me, clubbing is the only real way to go to know what you are getting and is the safest route, IMO.

First of all it's "discreet", not "discrete," and we all share your concern that you might be seen with a black person!!! And with only 200,000 people? LOL.
