Good News for vincemichaels (HIV)

Saturday, November 19, 2016 7:12 AM
NIH announced the discovery on an anti-body that "can potentially" neutralize nearly all HIV strains: [view link] So vincemichaels got lucky and might get to survive his AIDS infection after many years and bouts of illness. Testing remains to be done and it won't be first time a cure for HIV has wrongly thought to be imminent, but I'd personally be survived if there is one in the next ten years. Hang in there vince! We don't want you pulling an alucard on us so close to relief coming for you!

Sorry meant I'd be surprised if there "isn't" on in the next ten years.

Wonderful news, but I think this was already posted. These medical researches are heroes IMO and deserve much better compensation. Best and brightest of the millennials go into finance to get rich, which is horrible waste of talent. (Medical researches) > ( Medical doctors) > (Applied scientists) >..........> (Strippers) > (Family lawyers)

You are right, this was a thead not too long ago. I have to laugh everytime, dickbreath Douchester posts this crap. He is in denial of his AIDS infection as he posts from that basement lodging he has at his mother's house in the Bronx. He's been giving her arsenic to hasten her passing so he can move upstairs to her bed and have sex with her dead body. :)

wasn’t there someone here just the other day advocating for capping medical doctors’ pay to keep costs down in a future socialist dystopia? with that kind of thinking we are likely to get nothing but pre-law strippers going into medicine instead of the best and the brightest

Yep the top quant funds will throw ungodly amounts of money to get whom they want. Tech companies can come close but if Wall Street wants someone and that someone is interested Wall Street will outspend. Overall, however, my take is that millenials are highly idealistic, maybe not as much as 60s boomers, but they also somewhat more realism mixed in, so I think they are more likely to stick to their ideals over the long run versus all the hippies who sold out. I'm not sure if it will be them or their children who get to be Nietzsche Last Man (what is your opinion, SJG?) Millennials world view is highly influenced by Netflix and, overall highly anti-Wall Street. But that's a good thing. I think this recent rally will the last glory, and then the field will get decimated due to automation. So overall tech/biotech is a better place to be. Fundamentally the quant funds can knock the weaker players out of the game but they can't squeeze more out of the market than it's natural growth rate. After the weaker players are gone then it's just like a bunch of equally good poker players trading chips around.

Should say can't more squeeze out of the markets than natural growth rate after they knock all the weaker players. Before that point they get to have lots of fun.

@Phillip- Good post, actually, and I recognize contradicting myself. I think medical doctors and medical researchers deserve to be very, very highly paid. Maybe there's some type of compromise where most members of society are entitled to some form of universal health care, and wealthier members of society can buy into private insurance to get the best medical care on the planet. The UK does have both private and public insurance. @Dougster - Also interesting post. Millennials I've run into are highly idealistic and anti-Wall Street -- but they want to go into finance, anyway.

I don't think anyone on the board (other than maybe SJG) thinks there's been too little posting by you lately. Did you fail another drug test at work or something?

Dougster, you said "I'd personally be survived if there is one in the next ten years." Is this an implication that you in fact are suffering for HIV infection?

Douchester was diagnosed as being brain dead years ago, Nina.

Yes, it's true. The best my opponents have ever done over the years has been able to pounce on typos. This they call "demolishing" me. And then they have a mindless little cock-sucker with an IQ (MisterDouche) who is so dumb and mindless all he can do is nod his head in agreement.

Karma is a Bitch Douche-ster I would wish someone would take an icepick to the back of your brain like they did to Leon Trotsky but that would accomplish nothing---- we all know there is no brain to be found under your thick skull. So just go fuck yourself, Piece of shit!!!!!

DAMN, DOUCHESTER. You need to stop doing hallucinogens. I don't go to your bathouses. LMAO, what a moron you are. All you do is parrot the same BS over and over and hope that anyone believes your idiotic rants. Better yet, slit your wrists, being careful not to spill your AIDS blood on anyone. ROTFLMMFAO

Btw, only dumb people believe in karma. The universe does not distinguish between "good" and "bad" much less try to balance it out on a large or individual scale. All the universe knows is what is allowed by laws of physics and what is not. Everything else is just man made superstitions.

And how do you know that, Douchester ? Are you God ??? LMAO
  • Dougster
"God" is a belief on par with "karma" in terms of silliness. As for Karma. We see innocent children die of Karma then someone like Joesph Mengler lives to a ripe old age and dies of natural causes. How could this happen if there was such a thing as "Karma"? Pretty easy to think of counter examples if you give a moments thought. Actually for you might take slightly longer than that, but you get the point.

Not true, SJG. I've been very polite and respectful to you despite our disagreements on many things and the fact that many people have screamed at me that I should go after you. Like I say I play by the rules the other guy (or girls) wants. You seem to want polite, rational discussion although possibly with many disagreements, so fine I'll play by those rules with you.

Doctor Phil, there is some talk on Conservative forums (with a capital 'C') that with more females entering the doctor and physicians' professions that it may induce a form of cost controls if female doctors, like their corporate sisters, will accept a salaried position instead along with a work-life balance instead of maximize-hourly-profit and the-most-income-possible-as-status-and-measure-of-success that male physicians' do. As perverted as that logic is ... it sort of makes sense! :-/ #feminism-is-winning

Dougster, the ire in my response has nothing to do with varied opinions on music or politics..... your attack on Vince using a fake diagnosis is just--- well, pathetic. DEPLORABLE (yes, THAT word). Especially on a board dedicated to hobby stuff where we know what goes on in the back room. Its the sort of thing that makes me see a red flag to anything you say. Screw this--- most of us don't have time for this shit anyway.
