Good News for vincemichaels (HIV)
NIH announced the discovery on an anti-body that "can potentially" neutralize nearly all HIV strains:https://www.niaid.nih.gov/news-events/ni…
So vincemichaels got lucky and might get to survive his AIDS infection after many years and bouts of illness.
Testing remains to be done and it won't be first time a cure for HIV has wrongly thought to be imminent, but I'd personally be survived if there is one in the next ten years.
Hang in there vince! We don't want you pulling an alucard on us so close to relief coming for you!

These medical researches are heroes IMO and deserve much better compensation. Best and brightest of the millennials go into finance to get rich, which is horrible waste of talent.
(Medical researches) > ( Medical doctors) > (Applied scientists) >..........> (Strippers) > (Family lawyers)
Overall, however, my take is that millenials are highly idealistic, maybe not as much as 60s boomers, but they also somewhat more realism mixed in, so I think they are more likely to stick to their ideals over the long run versus all the hippies who sold out. I'm not sure if it will be them or their children who get to be Nietzsche Last Man (what is your opinion, SJG?)
Millennials world view is highly influenced by Netflix and, overall highly anti-Wall Street. But that's a good thing. I think this recent rally will the last glory, and then the field will get decimated due to automation. So overall tech/biotech is a better place to be.
Fundamentally the quant funds can knock the weaker players out of the game but they can't squeeze more out of the market than it's natural growth rate. After the weaker players are gone then it's just like a bunch of equally good poker players trading chips around.
Good post, actually, and I recognize contradicting myself. I think medical doctors and medical researchers deserve to be very, very highly paid. Maybe there's some type of compromise where most members of society are entitled to some form of universal health care, and wealthier members of society can buy into private insurance to get the best medical care on the planet. The UK does have both private and public insurance.
@Dougster - Also interesting post. Millennials I've run into are highly idealistic and anti-Wall Street -- but they want to go into finance, anyway.
Not getting enough response from me so you hafta troll Vince dude?
LOL!
Is this an implication that you in fact are suffering for HIV infection?
I would wish someone would take an icepick to the back of your brain like they did to Leon Trotsky but that would accomplish nothing---- we all know there is no brain to be found under your thick skull. So just go fuck yourself, Piece of shit!!!!!
All the universe knows is what is allowed by laws of physics and what is not. Everything else is just man made superstitions.

As for Karma. We see innocent children die of Karma then someone like Joesph Mengler lives to a ripe old age and dies of natural causes. How could this happen if there was such a thing as "Karma"? Pretty easy to think of counter examples if you give a moments thought. Actually for you might take slightly longer than that, but you get the point.
now you are just being silly
I'm not little :)
Getting used in container ships now, instead of steam turbine. But these two stroke engines use a highly compressed forced intake. Thermal efficiency numbers rivaling everything, even gas turbine.
