Cutting them Off

I've come to accept stripper behavior best I can, but it's annoying at times. I've also come to realize, for the most part non strippers have some of the same tendencies. So at what point do you guys say fuck it, that's it?

If it's a civvy, she needs to treat me as well as I treat her if not then give her the fucking boot.

If it's a stripper, well, she's a stripper - it's like having a pet, they're gonna make a mess every once in a while - w/ a stripper I only do something for her if she does something for me, if she's just giving me SS then I don't give her shit ($$$), if she provides something then I return the favor

Drop them if it goes beyond the usual last minute cancellations and showing up late on a regular basis Everyone is entitled to the occasional screw up and drama but don't be too forgiving or accommodating. It has gone too far when it impacts your life and enjoyment.

it isn't that hard to find a replacement. Find a few stable providers you can depend on. This let's you cultivate some new talent and get rid of the trouble makers.

Seems I just really need to reach my point with this one in particular that prompted me to start this discussion. I've cut them off before, but that's been the ITC ones. Crazy what a lil pussy might have you thinking. Sound advice from everyone.

IMO, problem w/ inexperienced/semi-inexperienced SCers is that they tend to treat strippers like civvies but the strippers don't see us the same way (it's busine$$) for them

Like everyone else here, I know there's a level of "if you can't accept some flakiness, you shouldn't be involved with strippers". On the other hand, I don't let that be an excuse to bend over and take it, when that flakiness feels more like disrespect, or starts to become a real time or $ waster. Once I start feeling frustrated, I'm gone, and my frustration limit has definitely REDUCED over the years. I also find that explaining my expectations explicitly does help, at least with some strippers... many strippers are practically hard-wired to "the best way to handle someone who might be disappointed is by not handling it and going radio-silent", and I let them know that I understand people are late or have to cancel, the only thing that bothers me is lack of communication, I do think it helps, shockingly enough.

In any case, the way I interact with strippers is, I tend to ATF, so I interact with fewer, lower-volume, higher-quality strippers, and fire the flakier ones along the way, and that saves me a fuckload of frustration and "the sex is so awesome but how much shit am I supposed to take?" internal dialog.

Thanks twentyfive but somehow I get the feeling my quote would not go over well on StripperWeb
