Strip Club Hiring Methodology

With the independent contractor model, dancers pay the strip clubs to work with fees and tip-outs. Since the dancer is paying the club, the manager has an incentive to hire anyone who wants to strip, even the fuglies.

Was this day shift or night shift? (not that it matters .. it was a Tuesday). ;)

Fuglies are an ever present hazard. As jackslah writeds, it's to the owner's advantage to get more paying dancers, even the Fuglies. You did the right thing by walking away. I have absolutely no problem saying no to anyone.

The biggest shame is that Lookers used to have a couple very attractive and quite charming girls during the after work shift. I had heard Lookers was bought by the owners of Scarlett's, and the quality of everything went downhill. Even this very pretty Asian bartender was not at Lookers last evening.

I think I'll stop complaining about the Frumps at my club; compared to Ft. Myers girls they must be goddesses.

You can't put all of the blame on the managers. They don't always have a lot of choices in who applies for a job stripping. Some places have to take whatever they can get.

Even Cheetah in Atlanta that has always been known for eye candy has had to relax it's hiring standards to allow the girls to have a limited number of tattoos now.

Some clubs do manage to maintain a higher bar in terms of who they'll hire, but those kind of clubs are fewer and far between. It's depressing what some clubs will hire nowadays.

@shadowcat: I used to be turned off by tattoos. But so many of the millennial generation has them, that even the Army and Navy had to relax their standards wrt tattoos to meet their enlistment quota. Let me say that again, even the US Navy had to further relax their regulations for tattoos to achieve their desired number of recruits. Wow.

Tattoos are not the same blemishes as guts or just fugly. Unfortunately it's a result of the independent contractor deal that some strip clubs will hire anyone willing to pay the fees and tipout. Only thing we can do is not support these clubs and hope they go out of business. As long as these strippers make something, I guess, they will continue stripping. Take your money elsewhere.

I hate when a good club goes downhill, and often it is due to getting dancers that are fugly and losing the good looking ones. Its also bad when girls who had a great body let themselves go or get into drugs.

The only thing you can do is stop supporting that club.

The problem is likely because you were in Ft Myers. The clubs are so bad there that I never go.

^in fact that's not even a requirement at some clubs! There have been internet whispers of trannys at spearmint and sapphire in Vegas. Lots of real women for them to hide amongst!

Some clubs are show clubs, and they have definite standards they apply, and some are reluctant to hire Blacks. Making it a privilege to work there means that the girls will tend to listen to the management and follow the rules.

Not hiring blacks seems to be because of how the customers might feel about them. But it also seems to be because the management feels that blacks will be the first to go way outside of the rules, seeing themselves as guerrillas.

But other clubs are dives, and they don't care what the girls do or how they do it. So they just hire as many girls as possible. That some will have a hard time getting any money is not something they worry about. Such girls are likely to be more hungry an do more for less money. And then the more girls, the more customers they get. And then that makes it easier to hire younger and nicer looking girls, who come in eyeing the others to see if they they think they can beat them out.

So they want some really aggressive dogs. So long as they please some people, that is good enough.

I've seen how this works first hand in our underground Mexican Bar circuit, and also in a place which went further and further as they city had gotten the building slated for demolition, Club-Ante San Mateo.

Where you find only really hot looking ones, then probably the management does enforce rules.

We're not all into Papi Chulo modes, LDK82. That should be find by him because it's more for him. And hey, I can handle a thick girl if it's proportioned right. Sadly that was not the case. And this fugly that cornered me at Lookers just droned on and on in this horrid New York accent that I hate, telling me about herself like it was a bad blind date. Bitch, I don't care! Even the bartenders and other girls were looking at me like "You poor bastard, you never should have made eye contact."

Sometimes that is the best they can do. You can't make the hotties you want to strip be strippers. The problem is once a club gets a reputation for hiring any dancer who walks in the door, eventually they will only be hiring fuglies. I see that at my former favorite club. If they get a real good looking girl, that girl starts attracting everyone and eventually, they start to think they are better than their surroundings and then they leave for somewhere better, which ends up usually being my current#1 club, ultimately leaving the ugly girls behind.

Well if you have ever been to any dives, you will see lots of fuglies. We had one in San Jose, George's Rockin' Robin.

But with the slower money, these are the only girls they could hire. And then these girls are not shy about advertising FS as soon as they are outside the front door. And they are bending rules ITC as well.

But all of this interacts with LE, and how tough they are going to be on the rules.

These low end clubs have no reputation beyond their current clientele, and often that is not much.

So with the talent agents for the shows that ran in Mexican Bars, they told me that they wanted to "flood the places with girls". Problem with that is that the girls want to make money.

So they just hire any girls who looks like she's up to facing getting pawed all over, and also facing rejections. They tried to steal girls from the advertised clubs, and they also tried to recruit young hotties from discos. But the ones who really did well were this group I have dubbed, "Beloved Latina Escorts". They just make guys feel great, and they deliver ITC and OTC.

The more girls they can hire, the more customers that brings in, and then the more attractive that makes it for hotter looking girls who are comparing themselves to the current crew. It goes well, until LE arrests people and locks them in jail.

At the advertised clubs which have to follow the rules, they don't want girls who will be breaking rules.

Granted that because of my job the past few years I have only clubbed near my routes in Northern Ohio and have concentrated on smaller clubs and dives and am usually turned off and disappointed by the low quality strippers in those clubs.
After reading gammanu95's comments on those Florida clubs it appears that what I originally thought was uniquely a Northern Ohio problem appears to reach much farther.

Gammanu95, I feel your pain man but I also feel a bit better regarding the strip club situation up here. LOL

I feel purposeful knowing that my poor quality and lack of variety for adult entertainment improves the quality of life for TheeOSU and Rs6. My pain is not in vain.

Years ago the girls had to audition for a job. Now they hirer anybody. It's a vicious cycle. If you don't have good dancers, you don't get good paying customers. If the good customers go away it's hard to get good dancers because they can't make money.
You just need to travel to where the hot ones are.
