It was probably slow due to the fact that they tacked 16 cents on the price of a $20 lap dance. :)

Or it could be majority of Dems are young, go to night clubs and/or advocate equal rights amongst gender and race. They're more serious about that than conservatives

What kind of retarded club tacks on an extra 16¢ for lap dances. Do they expect people to use their credit cards or for people to walk around with change?

But the Republican National Convention was very prosperous for gay male escorts!

Back in the old days, conventions were a boon to the vice industry. Now social media has made running amok pretty risky. The sad thing is that the hostility towards strip clubs in particular and the adult industry in general runs deep in both parties. The evangelicals in the Republican Party says its immoral; the Democrats claim it exploits women. While there are plenty of honest perverts in the middle of both parties, they are not driving the respective policy busses.

I was there during the convention(for business) don't care for either group of criminals this year. And it was fairly dead. I think the conventions are more of a party at the site kind of a deal and the big time speeches didn't start until late. Also, just from observing at the airport, the vast majority of conventioneers were crazy cat ladies and couples. I didn't really see many single dudes.

Skeptical about Nina's story, too easily fits the hypocrite narrative that people eat up.

No. They raised the price of a lap dance to $20.16 to equal the year 2016 for the convention. It flopped!
