Early in my showclub career I bought air dances because I was unaware that there were more options available.

As a veteran, if a girl starts doing the standing in front of me routine, I quickly end the session.

I have found a club that gives full contact. I go there. Air dances are the worst and I agree with K.

It's from an older time, before the lap dance era. Also, some locales only permit nudity or semi-nudity if, and only if, there is zero contact. It's best to avoid those cities and towns. Nowadays you should be able to find contact or friction dances, even if they are only topless or bikini dances.

I find it best to ask the woman what her rules are, before I agree to a dance. If she gives me an answer I don't like, or if she's being coy, avoids the answer, or gives a vague answer, I pass on her.

If she mentions "grind" somewhere in her answer, you're going to get at least good 1-way contact (if not 2-way). IMO and IME.

The right air dances, can, turn me on. But hopefully, better options (at least 1 way contact?) exist elsewhere. If not, I could settle for air dances, if I had to. If done right, yes, even air dances are a turn on.

I was at a club in the Greenwich Village area. As part of a two day bachelor party. I was looking forward to a good ride - but I got nothing but air. I stopped her after one dance. She gave me a dirty look - so I told her "There was so much distance between us - you didn't even breathe on me."

The bouncer was not far away - and he was the size of a mountain - so I wasn't going to cause any problems.

I will never knowingly pay for air dance. If I interview the stripper about what I get, and she doesn't give a good answer I refuse to LD. Or if "1 song" is an airdance in club where it should be contact dance, I stop it at 1 song and she is on my blacklist I've had strippers ask me why I stopped at 1 song, I tell them its because they air danced me [in a normally contact SC], they then call me a cheap pervert. Where I live the strip clubs are all strictly regulated no touching. So many don't have any kind of private dances.

Of the clubs that do have private dances, it is just to keep the girls happy, give them a chance to make more money.

But I prefer to engage with them by stage tipping, and then just sit and talk. So I have paid them the full $20 per song dance fee just to sit and talk. No house cut that way.
