Solving other peoples' problems is so easy because I am not close to the situation and can remain objective. I can use clear thinking and can remain rational. I have surrendered the pursuit of a woman who I have liked for some time now. It took awhile for me to come to this conclusion but now I can move on knowing I did everything I could to make something happen. Here are several things that finally made my decision easier...
- She avoided me when she had every chance to stop and chat.
- We were talking one afternoon and she jumped and raced to answer her phone.
- I have shown interest in her, but she seemed to ignore me.
- She seemed bothered by me.
- She purposely brought her date / boyfriend with her to let me know she has or is seeing someone. The more I think about it. All of the signs were there for months now. My self esteem suffered as well from the pursuit of this girl. Thankfully I can easily avoid her. She lives 3 hours away. Sometimes we hold the keys to our own prison and don't even know it. Free at last...
