The dreaded "work boyfriend"

Yesterday a stripper told me she considers me to be her work boyfriend.

That's when I knew I've been spending too much money on her. Time to scale back. I need to spread my money around different dancers, not just a select few.

You ever been called the work boyfriend by a stripper? Do you like it?

That's sort of weird, honestly. I have a "work wife", but like most marriages, there is zero sexual chemistry (*zing*). But we do talk to each other more than we talk to our own spouses.

That's a new term to me...but it makes sense. I guess no different than when I say "I'm going to go see my stripper friend," I call her that because we do things ITC that girlfriends and boyfriends do! lol

Estafador gave me advice, when my CF started taking me for granted and got demanding of me, I fired her and started spending on other dancers in front of her. It shaped her up really fast.

Now I typically spend on 2-3 dancer per visit, and I prefer it that way, at least for now. The upside is I still get GFE out of the CF when I do spend on her. Maybe the GFE isn't escort grade, but it's good enough for me!

Sort of. When I walked into the club where my ATF worked,'the bartender would yell back to the dressing room, "Hey Becky, your boyfriend is here!"

No but it wouldn't bother me. It just means you're one of her favorite regulars.

Agree with JS69. Seems she considers you good people.

As long as nothing changes - with respect to the services she offers - I wouldn't mind that at all.

My ATF started taking me for granted so while I always bought her a drink and sat and chatted, I started turning her down for dances. She started ignoring me so I moved on to others. After 4 months of this she is treating me like it was at first.

    Work Boyfriend?

Just try to see her outside, and ultimately off the clock. If she goes for it, you are her boyfriend. If she does not, she's history.

I've heard that a few times. I don't think it's the label of doom or anything. Just don't read too much into it. I do think that it's, at minimum, and acknowledgement that you're a regular of hers and she spends a lot of time with you. Beyond that, JS's assessment that you're one of her favorite regulars is possible .... but I think it's EASILY as possible that it's basically a form of "false teaming" to bind you to her even more and get you spending more. It's a powerful psychological technique, and used often in hustle. So, like I said, no reason to read much into it, other than she certainly is acknowledging she spends lots of time with you.

Last summer I told my then favorite dancer that I was her pretend boyfriend and she seemed to like it and go with it. However her continued resistance to OTC even though we had spent many nice nights together at the club soon after caused me to lose interest in her. I don't hold anything against her and to this day consider her the classiest stripper I have ever met though. She is a beautiful and sweet lady and I wish more strippers were like her. Unlike many strippers, I think that she would make a fine girlfriend and someday some lucky guy will land her. If I ever meet her again I will gladly buy a couple of dances from her but just not spend hundreds on her like I have done in the past. To this day I am tempted to text her to meet up at the club but know that it would likely not lead to anything so I resist the urge.

What he really meant was that unlike her real BF, seeing that you have money to spend it works for her.
