Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life

I watched part of "Dr. Strangelove" Saturday night for the first time in years. I know I should have been at a strip club.

Who was the actor that played the flight engineer aboard the B-52 bomber.

Slim Pickens was the pilot James Earl Jones plated Lt Zogg, the bombardier

But who was the flight engineer that kept calling out the fuel calculations. His voice sounded like the unmistakable William Daniels. But he looked like Dennis Hopper.

He seems to be uncredited. I even found a discussion on this topic on a movie trivia site, but no one can confirm the answer.

I am hoping one of you TUSCL geniuses might know.

I also watched the movie yesterday. LMAO! There is a Lt Goldberg played by Paul Tamarin, but he's listed as the radio operator.

OK. But you're going to have to deal with the Coca COLA company!

Peter Sellers is one of my all time favorites. He was brilliant in all the parts he played in Dr. S!

I saw it was on over the weekend but I missed it. It's up there as one of my favorite all time movies. I think club dude may be correct. I did a quick search and found Lt Goldberg as well and really think he's the voice we hear. But like I said, i'd need to watch it again to be positive.

Our precious bodily fluids being ravaged by fluoridation! Oh, the horror, lol.

Ok, here's the part that cracked me up the most.....

General Jack D. Ripper: Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk... ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children's ice cream. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: [very nervous] Lord, Jack. General Jack D. Ripper: You know when fluoridation first began? Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: I... no, no. I don't, Jack. General Jack D. Ripper: Nineteen hundred and forty-six. 1946, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Uh, Jack, Jack, listen... tell me, tell me, Jack. When did you first... become... well, develop this theory? General Jack D. Ripper: [somewhat embarassed] Well, I, uh... I... I... first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm. General Jack D. Ripper: Yes, a uh, a profound sense of fatigue... a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I... I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm. General Jack D. Ripper: I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women uh... women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I, uh... I do not avoid women, Mandrake. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: No. General Jack D. Ripper: But I... I do deny them my essence.

Great movie, the cold war is over but it is still fresh as ever. Although to be honest here in Michigan I'm more concerned about the government adding lead in the water then fluoride.
