One other horrifying realization in the article I read... Straight guys were doing gay porn because 1. It paid more and 2. They could find more work. Yuck!!!! Talk about not enjoying your work. Next time you bitch about your job remember, at less you're not getting literally butt fucked.
Explains why a lot of them turn to escorting. Prostitution maybe, but that's a lower aspect of escorting and one associated with generally poor people money. I remember an interview I saw on youtube's DJVlad that Lisa Ann was complaining that a lot of porn stars who turn to escorting are killing the porn game. Bridgette B. was a huge complainer about it. I can see why they do it though. So little money involved, especially when you may or may not even make it big in the pussy world, thus stuck with $800 a month. Might as well just work full time at Macys. Much less strain on the woman's body.

according to that link, the writers make the least amount of money? Why is that? Their the meat and potatoes of any porn scene. I would think they'd get paid just under directors because some scripts in any production can make or break said production.
We all can write. That is not a unique talent. Dialogue is often ad libbed in porn and the scenario is not created by the writer. Mostly just scene blocking. Since most pornos are less than an hour long there isn't much for a writer to do.
I remember a few years ago one of the big name pawn stars not sure if it was Alexis Texas or the Octomom did a feature at T's lounge in WPB and after her show while she was signing t-shirts and calendars the bouncers surrounded the stage while her roadie used a push broom to gather the money off the stage floor I don't know how much was there but it filled a large trash bag and she did 4 shows a day as a feature there I'm sure it was in excess of 10 grand.
I think I'll get a job in porn. Acting and writing both sound attractive. Maybe I could do a dream stripper series -- fat old customers meeting gorgeous 19 year olds on stage in a strip club and taking them out on dates.
Frankly I'd be willing to do porn work on the side for free so the fact that they actually pay a little money to males is an unexpected bonus.
There is a place in the Czech Republic where a guy can go and fuck nice looking women for free, so long as it is filmed. The women get paid from the movie proceeds, but the guys are just there volunteering for the good cause.
^^Sounds like a gig for you although the writing is not nearly as detailed as yours. Generally your porn is a lot better than the average plot and dialogue in a pawn film.

This book has a whole chapter on it. Box Cover Girls are on top, and they get paid well.
Then the male leads. These guys are rare as they are always hard.
B-Girls are next, paid very little and often drug addicts.
Then the rank and file guys for whom the pay is really marginal and often they are crew too.
