In my opinion, the Founder's framing the site's content in this way is the equivalent of an escort stating on her website that "Any exchange of money is for time and companionship only." It's pro-forma legal cover with a heavy dose of Python-esque "nudge-nudge, wink-wink". It is also there to reign in expectations of accuracy on a crowd-sourced site where factors ranging from booze to male ego play a large role.
I think that if everyone treated the site as a forum to test their gonzo fiction writing, it would be a big hot mess and completely useless. So, I think it's safe to say that for most users there's some expectation of accuracy.
When I look at club profiles, I try to scan several reviews and look for commonalities. If three reviews in a row state that the bouncers are pricks, then I'm reasonable sure that's good information. And, that information (+ or -) affects my decision to visit a club. In terms of seeking out entertaining fiction, I already have a Kindle. But, I may be a little more utilitarian than others on here. What I scroll past, others may enjoy. To each their own.
