Apps You Need Part 2
shailynn
They never tell you what you need to know.
Sports:
Thescore - easiest interface I have found to find sports scores without all the fussy crap
Gambling:
Poker atlas - will use your location to show the closest poker rooms and tournaments, and the info is actually accurate. Even has tournament info for little poker rooms, not just big casinos
Home Automation:
Nest - spend the $250 and buy yourself a nest thermostat. It was easy to install myself and it's great controlling your homes hvac system from anywhere in the world. It learns your routine which can get a little annoying especially when the heat kicks on in the middle of the night but you can manually change the temperature settings so it won't happen down the road.
Mail:
My mail - yahoo mail app sucks, google Mail app is okay, my mail kicks ass, much easier interface to use and has a more organized viewing page.
Cars:
Cargurus - generic looking search engine that pulls online car ads from everywhere. If someone listed a car for sale on the Internet (with the exception of craigslist and eBay) it's probably gonna show up on here.
Car payments - easy calculator to figure out any loan, not just exclusive to cars.
Travel:
Skiplagged - cheat the airlines and book a layover flight for $85 when the same direct flight costs $225. Just be sure to not check your luggage and book one way tickets. One of the few apps that will accurately pick a nearby airport for you that maybe cheaper. Kayak, and onthefly often fuck this up.
Fun:
Yeti - college life at its finest - some of you PLs wil probably masturbate to this app. Photos of kids doing drugs, partying, titties, etc. it's grown a great deal for just being a little over 1 year old. The best (and original) schools to view are: Florida state, West Virginia university and Arizona state - the kids at those schools are crazy!
Vegas:
Vegasindoormaps - maps to all casino floors - you have no idea how valuable this info is when you're in a casino and trying to find that restaurant you heard about without spending 45 minutes to get there.
Allvegaspoker - similar to pokerstlas but lists all poker tournaments by buy-in / time of day / etc which is much easier to view.
Misc:
Backdrops - beautiful photos for your iOS devices, if you get tired of your lock screen photo of your DS, maybe switching to a photo of the Italian coastline may be the change your phone needs.

Flightaware.
Let's you track any airline flight by carrier and flight number.
Extremely useful if you are picking up someone from an airport to know if their flight is on time or delayed. Also useful for anyone on a layover or just wanting to check the status of their flight from their hotel room (or strip club).
I use it all the time.
Shazam.
Ever been in a strip club and hear a song you like but don't know the title or the artist?
Shazam listens to the song for about 5-10 seconds and let's you know all about the song.
Great app. I use it all the time also.
