Paul did say that. He also said that a husband should put the needs of his family first, which puts a whole different spin on things!
The Bible needs to be read and understood in its entirety if benefit is to be obtained. The so-called "fundamentalists" are not that at all. They are Biblical cherry pickers who use limited quotes to justify their positions. They might as well be Wahabi Muslims with that attitude.
