This is not the first time sex had been used in recruiting. Sex is used regularly on the recruiting trail by players who will take recruits to parties and hook them up girls. Many programs use hot girls to show recruits around campus. Maybe not for sex but they know what 17-18 year old boys are thinking.

This is nothing new to college sports. Look at Colorado.

Hell when I was getting recruited to play baseball I went to a couple parties by the player. They would have all their hot friends over to "encourage" you to come to that college.
