Let's say a dancer averages 4 customers per hour and she works 8 hours a day. That's 32 customers. Now, let's say she works 5 days a week. That's 160 customers PER WEEK assuming NO repeat customers during the week. During a two week period that's 320 customers assuming NO repeat customers. Assume 10% of customers expect FREE dates from the dancer. That's 32 customers! Assuming each date lasts 1 hour thats 32 hours per week! In very short order the dancer will be spending more of her time giving FREE dates than working unless she adopts a 1 FREE date per customer policy.
Assuming the dancer needs 8 hours of sleep and she works 8 hours dancing that's 16 hours per day that is gone. Let's further say she wastes 2 hours per day eating, bathing, dressing, commuting, and shopping. That leaves 6 hours per day for giving FREE dates to customers. So she can date 6 customers per day during the week for a total of 30 FREE dates. She is still short 2 FREE dates, but heck thats NO problem she can just squeeze them in on Saturday or Sunday! :)
This expection of dating a dancer for FREE is really 100% INSANE if the customer gives it any thought. Yes, there are exceptions, BUT it is EXTREMELY RARE!!!
Let's say that the dancer falls in LOVE with 10% of the customers she gives FREE dates to. So that's 3.2 new lovers for each two week period so in a month she will have 6.4 new lovers and in two months 12.8 new lovers. She will have a small army of new lovers. :)
