  I was sitting with a dancer when one of her regulars came in with a friend of his, told her to go ahead and take care of business (he is a Doctor and spends a couple 100 a week on her). She came back later and told me she was introduce to the other guy as his boyfriend. They both got dances, but she never knew he was gay until that day. He still comes in every week, Gay men love having women as best friends, but a Dancer!

  I woukd say bi. People are weird on how they interpret that. I know some wealthy older gay guys that have these younger boyfriends/husbands that are essentially housewives. I suspect these younger guys arent 100% gay but they gotta do what they do to get out of working. I also know a guy through work channels thst regularly gets BJs from gay guys but insists he is not gay and whst he is doing has no homo-overtones at all - uh yeah right. Peoples thought process make no sense to me at times.

  I've seen gay guys as part of a group or an escort for bi-curious young women. Never a gay couple. Guessing in that case at least one had a touch of the bi. A lot of gay dudes like tits. They just find pussy icky.

  Back in the '90s at my regular club in Michigan, there was an obviously gay couple who I saw more than once. A dancer told me she had seem them come in several times. The would just sit alone drinking for an hour or so, watching the dancers on stage. Who knows, maybe they were admiring them as fabulous role models.

  Chandler, I wonder if that gay couple felt like a strip club was someplace they could actually go out in public together? The 90s were a different time. Plus, if either or both the guys were married and closeted, it's not the worst cover. Especially if there were no gay bars or they were worried about being seen together at a gay bar.

  I would think it's uncommon and as others have said maybe they may be bi to some level. Also – the female body is a beautiful thing and a beautiful thing to be looked at and admired – I would think many straight women can enjoy and appreciate a beautiful woman's body and so perhaps can a gay guy?

  My favorite dancer at one of my regular clubs says the most surprising thing about stripping is the number of openly gay men she has danced for and that it seems to follow her from club to club. It may be odd that gay men go to strip clubs, but few people are 100% gay, or 100% straight.

  Ever see drag queens like RuPaul? Alot of gay men seem to be infatuated with extreme feminine ideals in terms of clothes, makeup, etc. I think that some gay guys go to strip clubs to enjoy the ultra-feminized slutty look that strippers have. Maybe they take away some fashion tips.
