  I'm not sure Dougster. Hey maybe it's ok if it's turkey bacon.
  Not sure what they make turkey bacon out of though. It still tastes like bacon.

  The only worthwhile syrup for pancakes and waffles is pure maple syrup. Everything else is a waste of time and calories.

  GMD, sure, but Log Cabin is a childhood favorite. Couldn't afford pure maple syrup back then

  Pure maple syrup must be an acquired taste. As a kid I grew up on Log Cabin. When I tried real maple syrup as an adult I really didn't care for it. I went back to the fake stuff. I prefer the taste of 'Lite'

  @gawker: I grew up on Western NY Grade A, but the Vermont stuff is good too.
  
  Maple syrup on vanilla ice cream is pretty epic, too.

  I'm a big Southern country boy so pancakes and bacon ain't gonna fill me up. Gotta have some grits and eggs with the burnt toast. After that just chill and play video games until the strip clubs open for the day.
