Recently a casino in New Jersey dealt cards at one of their tables that were not shuffled. The players realized it before the dealer, bet heavily and won. The casino went to court to keep its money saying that it was not their fault the cards weren't shuffled and therefore the game was void. The players contended that it was not their responsibility to make sure the casino, the dealer did and the card supplier did their jobs so they should get their winnings. The judge in collusion with the casino denied them their winnings.

The moral of this story is: 1} Casinos are legalized theft and if you are smart you avoid them, 2} New Jersey is a corrupt open sewer that should be avoided (plus I have never found a decent club in NJ), 3} At least at most clubs the minimum you get for your money is eye candy and boobies in you face, a much better value.
I have spent time in both Vegas and Reno and have never wasted a dollar in a casino. I saved my money and went on a club survey. (My Vegas wanderings were before I joined Tuscl).
What do you think Clubbing or Gambling which is the better value?

I'd fire the dealer. How do you lose 41 straight hands before you realize something is amiss? That being said, that was a TERRIBLE decision by the court. I'd appeal it myself.

Clubbing. Much more likely to get a "win".

My buddy and I went to Vegas in the Summer of 2012 for a vacation. One of our entertainment activities was going to a few strip clubs. I spent far more on the clubs than I did gambling. I've never been big on gambling. Have I spent money in Vegas casinos? Yes, but very, very little. I just played to get the experience of doing it more than anything else.

I think that if the people wanted to push the issue they could get that court case over turned. Because it is the responsibility of the casino to make sure everything is correct. You don't see a store going after its customers if they make an item at a wrong price. They don't go back and ask for people to pay the difference.
Now about the SC vs Casino.... I do both at the same time many times. I take X amount of $$$ for the night. With some of it going towards casino and other to club. If I win at casino is more money for club and possible extras. If I lose at the casino... I just have money for a few lappers and a good time at the club.

I don't gamble. I hate to throw away my money. When I give cash to strippers, I feel good about helping single moms make a decent living.

^^^ plus, you are helping the stripper support her unemployed boyfriend and help her purchase packs of cigarettes and weed, (and who knows what other kind of drugs), on a weekly basis.
It's good for the economy! :)

I go to both. What happens to other people in either venue makes no difference to me.

When Memphis was still a great town for strip clubs, I used to hit the casinos in Tunica during the day, and then hit the infamous Platinum Plus at night. I always had a limit on what I could loose at the casinos to make sure I always had plenty for the club.

Check out my name, I'm biased towards casinos. Contrary to the government's definition, you can make money at cards. It is a game of skill and isn't completely luck.
Poker and card counting in blackjack aside, one would be wise to avoid casinos. The only gambling I do in Vegas casinos that isn't poker is geared towards finding those beautiful ladies that come out at night to work the casinos in their own intimate way!

I like poker, I can take money from drunk fools. All other gambling is a waste of money for me.

The judge decided in favour of the casino, what a shock. There have been case over here of guys winning big in casinos and them being denied winnings on flimsy technicalities.

As a former Nevadan I don't mind casinos, usually stuck to betting on sports though. Now that I'm not in Nevada prefer clubs

I do both, but not on the same days. As a general rule, the clubs located near casinos are not very good. Vegas may be the exception, but those clubs are usually very expensive if you want extras.
