Happened to see a new review of this place in Houston, yesterday. It sounds gross, but it is clearly right out there as to what they do. It is a Korean Hostess Bar.
Where I live there have been Hostess Bars, usually Korean, but also one Japanese and some Vietnamese. Often they won't even let white guys in so you can't see what is going on. Really, what I mean is they won't let you scope out the women.
There was one running a long time in Sunnyvale, on the El Camino just North of Mary ( site of former Hip Hugger strip club and also previously my first AMP, Vietnamese )
There was lots of attention drawn to it because it came out that a Sunnyvale Police Officer was involved with them and with the Korean Mafia, giving them tips offs as to when busts would occur, and also doing some extremely despicable things which I will not even mention. It only took a jury 3 hours to convict him.
Some of these Hostess Bars actually did employ young dolled up hotties, good enough to be working in the Viet Coffee Shops, where they don't do anything except parade around in high heels and mini-dresses and serve coffee and tea. And oh yes, they flirt with me. But these kinds of hostess bars with the young girls, they are usually the ones that won't even let white guys get in the front door.
But for the most part, Hostess Bars are a minor factor in South Bay. I guess you could say that Strip Clubs are a minor factor too, as they are all strictly no touching and we don't even have very many of them per capita. So what we have instead are AMPs and AAMPs.
Once I did go in and order a drink and scope out a Korean Hostess Bar, decades ago. Smoking was an issue.
In the AMPs, 25 years ago it was sometimes an issue. But now because of the clean indoor air laws, it is non-existent.
Also, I've seen the statistics. The smoking rate for Asian women is lower than for any other demographic group. This holds true but for two blatant exceptions, the Korean AAMP RA's, and the Waitresses and Women Customers at SJ's Viet Coffee Shops. If you took these two groups out, at this point I would say that the rate is just about zero.
I tried to look this Jia's Lounge up on Rubmaps. That usually only lists MP's, which this is not. But just in case it was listed, and so I could see what other people say about it, I looked. I looked by current name, old name, and street. Not listed. But Houston does have over two hundred listings, and most of them are Asian.
Just for those local people who might be interested, one SJ Viet AMP, very highly rated, has just vanished from RubMaps. As I have seen, when a place gets closed, RubMaps does not delist it. They just annotate that it is closed and let it stay up for quite some time. So I am going to try and call them and one of their girls in particular on the house phone today. Nowadays the house phone will probably be the manager's cell phone anyway. See what I can find out.

I also talked to one of their girls. I was slated to session with her a while back, but it fell through. So I am still trying to maintain contact with her. I see her as one of a group of 3 who back up my group of 3 proto girlfriends.
As far as the old address, I'll keep tabs on it and see if a new shop opens there.
As far as why the move, like did they get busted, it will have to get to the point where these girls are taking turns keeping me warm at night, before they would be willing to tell me about something like that. I am not there yet, but I will be.

Some of them do sound nice, straight up brothels. I think mostly Korean.
Some have posted about girls being 100% GFE, and sometimes even being perfectly happy to demonstrate this when sitting with you on the couch in the front room.
As I see it, that is as good as it gets, in any of these sorts of venues.
I guess in Houston LE just isn't interested in doing anything about these places. If they tried, their officers would probably get compromised.
Sounds like in some the bartender and waitress are on the menu. Sometimes that is all that is available.
You just buy the girl a drink to get things started. Maybe it could be a soft drink.
Now I started this thread in response to a negative review of such a place. But it sounds like it is not always that bleak.
Where I live there have been Asian Hostess Bars, but nothing quite like this, where you go directly to FS, and even with front room GFE. At the ones I've been in there has never been anything that obvious. Too much money spent before it gets anywhere.
But the way this is being described now in Houston sounds most promising.
I am convinced that the front room GFE and the associated rapport built make all the difference, whether in Tijuana, or in some of the most extreme US strip clubs, or in these Houston Asian Hostess Bars, or just for guys who have learned to make it go that way most anywhere they go.

Here, this Jenny's Lounge in Houston, someone just reviewed it. Nominally Korean, but at least one girl Vietnamese. Front room friendliness!
This means that you could steer it to front room GFE.
Very hard to do that in an AMP or Lingerie Modeling place because they are not supposed to be hang out places. You have to commit to the session or leave. But a hostess bar is different. It is a sort of a hang out place. And then these Houston places have AMP style massage rooms. Sometimes even in an out building.
In My Experience, Front Room GFE is the surest guarantee of a mind blowing encounter. It is not just that you are test driving the girl or making her jump through hoops. It is that you are showing her that you like her and that you can build intimate rapport with her.
Women like that at least as much as guys do.
Nothing ever like this where I live, as far as I know!

This place looks pretty iffy. Houston has got a rep for a high crime rate, and then a high rate of death penalties. But on the other hand, the place sounds a great deal like an AMP, just basic cost effective FS, and usually GFE. I'm sure their "girls" wear high heels and dresses. But unlike an AMP you can fraternize in the front room. So this makes it all better, because you can pick a girl and loosen her up before committing to the back room. Of course I would suggest the day time. We don't really have places like this where I live. Our LE is too tough.
But, I suspect that most of the time their 'girls' are not that young. But I believe that most of them will still be good looking. And I am sure that OTC's of any sort would be no problem.
