i happened to run across a dancer on facebook that I've known for several years and learned her daughter's name is her stripper name.
Seems a bit creepy to me.

I guess that is better than using her son's name. :)
Well, hopefully it's a pretty name. And when her daughter grows up she'll learn that mommy was/is a nanny.
Yeah, it sounds a little off. Did she have the kid before or after she started her stripping career?
Depends on the name. It would be a bit unusual to have a series of kids named, viagra, cialis and levitra (some of the more distinctive stripper names that I've encountered).
It sounds creepy, but it's always possible that's just a name that runs in her family. In my life, I've met 2 people who had my middle name who I was not related to. I didn't find that creepy.
Met a girl at follies last time I was there who used her mothers name as her dancer name. Mommy used to dance at baby dolls. Same one that offered me $100 hour otc. Maybe that was her moms rate.
I knew a dancer whose stage name was the same as her stepson's name. (The name is used for both sexes).
The LORD mane hath tol me that hore is an honourabil profession far moar so than many others so she is preparing her daughter four a lif of honor an warship by holy men
That is not creapy so sayeth the final prophet of the LORD mane
I told a dancer once that I couldn't get and dance from her because her name was the same as my grand daughter's and that would be too creepy. She said "well just call me anything you like". I said how about "Bitch" and she said "That'll work". She got the dance.
My original ATF used her mother's maiden name "Carter".
Yes creepy
Not as creapy as the mother daughter team I once encountered.
Dancer's pick their stage name, and everyone picks their kids name (as opposed to one's own name). So if a dancer really likes one particular name, then...
Clearly this is a failure on the part of TUSCL members who think strippers should consider both themselves and their work completely sleazy. Keep trying guys, you missed one.
