In case anyone was curious, there is a way to re sort discussions in a format other than how old the discussion is or other than "Date Posted". If you want to see discussions sorted by the most recent post in it, you click the "Sort Discussions" button and click on "Last Comment." If you have it set on "Last Comment," every time a new comment is posted, on your computer it automatically brings the discussion back to the top of the list and it becomes once again the first discussion visible.
