Never mix drugs, guns, and money in the same bag, closet, etc.
This was an inside job; the DEA had a tip since they were at the airport to meet them. Had they driven, a cop would have pulled them over at some point. Flying a private plane inside the US would be 100% safe unless the DEA was already on to her.
