An undercover operation at a strip club in northwest Harris County led to the arrest of 14 people and the seizure of drugs, weapons, and cash.
The operation by the HCSO's Special Investigations Division Vice Unit was the culmination of a months-long investigation into the "Joy of Houston Gentlemen's Club" located at 7004 Charles Road, and in direct response to citizens' complaints about possible illegal activity, namely prostitution and drug activity, taking place inside the club.
In all, 14 people were arrested for various charges including prostitution, Sexually Oriented Business (SOB) regulation violations, and possession of a controlled substance. One person was arrested for having an open warrant.
Investigators also seized drugs, weapons, and cash.
Assisting in the operation were the HCSO's Game Room Task Force, Sexually Oriented Business Unit, Crime Control Division, K-9 Division, Communications Division, Transportation Division, Homeland Security Task Force Division, and the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Black chick with the bangs is the only one I'd bang. The two dudes almost look too clean cut.
These stories make me worried about a place you and I enjoy in this world if the powers that be want to make it happen
These mugshots weren't as scary as some. None were hot, but that April Garner, clean her up a bit, and she might be ok.
Homeland Security?
Really? Really?
The eyebrows chick is kinda scary huh? And her name is "Karmaninisha". Funny how black folks love the "-isha" at the end of their names.
And are you serious about April Garner? Looks like some 12-year-old who was caught smoking on the playground.
Yeah, chick with the bangs is the only one who is possibly do-able, but her face is a bit too manly...and weird eyes. I'd have to see her body first before I took it out.
April is a bit young looking -- in general, I don't go for the young 'uns, but in comparison to the rest, she would be my choice. The dudes were better looking than the women.
Plus, I kind of like the expression on her face.
It's like the look she would give her mom when told to get off of her phone and do her homework.
Yeah, that eyebrow chick is freakin' scary. She looks like the middle linebacker of a woman's prison team.
I never liked bangs on a girl. Not sexy. Plus, she has that "deer in the headlights" frightened look.
"Plus, I kind of like the expression on her face."
I dunno....she looks far too "underage trailer park meth addict" for me. And the weirdness on her forehead....maybe too many beatings from her pimp or something.
"that April Garner, clean her up a bit, and she might be ok....a bit young looking..."
Yeah, a little make-up, maybe her hair in a ponytail, a cheerleader outfit...
Houston, we've got a problem.
What about Winnie Cooper? Bangs looked great on her.
Hey, does that Michael Mathern guy remind you of anybody? (Just picture him in a beanie hat and Salvation Army apron).
He's probably the ringleader, lol

"What about Winnie Cooper"
Congrats, Slick, first pop culture reference of the day!
@Steve-Danica McKellar can be my numerator any day. #sexymath
What a stunning waste of resources. A multi-month operation involving who knows how many people, all of which will yield few, if any, serious criminal charges. But like I always say, young naked girls are easier targets than hardened felons. Why put your neck on the line tracking down vicious fugitives when you can get paid for pushing around young and largely defenseless strippers instead? ;)
More germane for us: How many of the dudes were "customers like us?" Three of the 4 guys were wearing the same black shirts, which leads me to believe that those 3 were club employees. The 4th guy looked like how I picture a thug element customer to look like.
Pop Culture reference #2
That guy with mop of curly hair - Jeffrey Sufrir - looks like Hurley on LOST?
The one with the eyebrows looks kinda like Valerie, don't you think so jerikson?
@JS69 - Stop trying to make "Valerie" happen
(Pop culture reference #5)
“… in direct response to citizens' complaints about possible illegal activity …”
I guess once a complaint has been made; they probably gotta do something.
Why having SCs in non-neighborhood locations may be a better situation.
I'm convinced that the vast majority of police actions like this are a response to citizen complaints. The cops MUST do something, no matter how wasteful and inefficient. Politics and perceptions rule
Joy is located just 3 miles from my office down 529. I have been there a couple of times but prefer Cover Girls which is also around 3 miles away (and where I met an otc girl in Feb I am still seeing - she is at 200 a session, from Cali with enhanced boobs and no longer danced, graduated to provider).
Joy had a higher cover charge than Cover Girls ($10 vs $5) and not as good a buffet. One of my FB friends dances at Joy but she was not in the lineup. Joy has lap dance rooms and the ones I took dances with were open to otc usually around $300 s session. I feel this is high due to the $220 average of areas professional escorts off eccie or sugar dating gals I have had in the 100-200 range. I do not believe this is one of the 16 clubs who made a deal with the City to eliminate extras areas. The last time I was there a girl told me she was tight but can take good length too. "I like it when its deep in me about to cum" she said. This senseless persecution of stripper providers and putting them on the mug shot pillory reminds me of how the Nazis made Jews wear the star of David. It is infuriating, it is just another publicity stunt to take girls trying to support their kids in a campaign to mask the real problems in this country. When will we stop electing the establishment minions?
"deer in the headlights" frightened look...
yeah I'm sure the guy taking the mugshots said "just act natural" and she forgot! lol
That eyebrow is actually fashionable.

I would probably do the chick with the bangs, she's not bad looking.
