Detroit suggestions

They never tell you what you need to know.
I know I've asked this before but need some quick advice.

I will be doing a Detroit club tour next weekend.

Here's where I've been: flight club, BTs, coliseum and penthouse. I love flight club but I think coliseum and penthouse have the hottest dancers. I did not have a good time on my visit at coliseum but am willing to give it another try.

I want to hit 2 clubs on Friday night

1 or 2 clubs on Saturday afternoon

1 or 2 clubs on Saturday night

I plan on visiting silver criket this trip, any other clubs I'm missing out on or stick to the ones I have already visited?

I called, his voicemail said he's in rehab again and won't be out until September.

Flight Club and Penthouse are my favorites, but you might want to try the Landing Strip in Romulus and Subi's in Southgate and Trumpps in Detroit.

I recommend Player's Lounge on 8 MIle, especially if you're interested in day shift. Otherwise, you've covered most of the higher end clubs. Notably absent from this list are Scores (not very impressive talent on my only three visits to this club and some recent reports of management reeling in the fun in the VIPs) and Hustler (overpriced and "under" fun).

Players was on my distant radar - thanks.

I can handle overpriced is fun is to be had, but no under-fun!!!! Lol

My all time best Detroit experience was at Subi's - the more attractive of the two sisters who worked there at the time.

Silver Cricket is one of those diamond in the rough clubs so you will have to be patient to find the talent if it is there. That said there is free parking and a low to zero cover so it is cheap to just check out.

I would put Bogart's on your list. I have always had a good time a Bogarts though it has been a while since I visited. I am spending way too much time and money at the high end clubs. Also had a good time a players but Players is a long drive from the west side or airport.

I haven't decided where to stay yet. In the past I have stayed in Dearborn and split time between flight club and BTs. My last trip I stayed in Southfield and went to coliseum and penthouse club.

This trip I'm thinking of staying downtown if I can get a room at one if the casinos for a decent price. Of not I'll probably just stay in Southfield again because it's close to where my current OTC buddy lives. She meets me in the mornings lol!!!

While I've made trips to other states solely for the strip clubs, I've never been to Detroit. Because, well, it's freakin' Detroit. And I could never find a reason to justify the trip.

Now, Tampa, for example, has tons of stuff to do on the downtime. And the clubs are pretty awesome. But Detroit? I'd love to go, but even *I* can't force myself to go to Detroit.

Maybe I've been stupid. Sounds like the clubs are pretty good. And since LA clubs are going thru a really bad spell right now, maybe I should try it.

I have the same question. I'm going to Ypsilanti and am wanting a sure thing near DTW Airport area or west of there. I'm traveling with a colleague and wish to step out unseen one night for about an hour.

Thinking Bogarts or Landing Strip. Not necessarily needing Flight Club quality, price, circuses. PS - I prefer Caucasian or Latina.

Comments??

^ I was in the D about 2 weeks ago.

I believe Flight Club and Bogarts are near DTW and near each other (others more familiar w/ Detroit will hopefully give you better info).

I often use mapquest.com and add several addresses at once (i.e. hotel location plus a couple of strip club locations) and then look at the map to get an idea of the proximity of various clubs.

Near the airport? I would recommend flight club or BTs. Nicest hotel in the area is the westin which is actually attached to the airport. Cab ride is usually under $20 each way. Airport to flight club is about a 10 minute drive if that. BTs is a few minutes more down the road. You can also stay in Dearborn which is on the opposite side of flight club and BTs is only a 5 minute drive from most hotels in Dearborn. I'd recommend the adoba hotel or the double tree in Dearborn - have stayed at them all.

As for why go to Detroit? Do you like to gamble? There are tons of charity casinos around Dearborn and other suburbs surrounding Detroit. During the days and early evenings I go to those places and play in poker tournaments. It's usually a nice trip. Arrive on Friday - play poker grab something to eat, go to strip club, have fun, get drunk. Get up Saturday have lunch, play poker, watch some football if its that time of year, go to strip club again. Get up Sunday have my OTC connection come take care of me before my check out - and head home! Lol

It hasn't come up but you should avoid the PlayHouse which is the closest club to the airport.

"I will be doing a Detroit club tour next weekend."

Let me get this straight - you're going to Detroit just to visit the strip clubs??

Sounds gloriously frivolous and fantastically low priority. Enjoy!!
