@georg, hey, back at the time everyone swiped Tannenbaum. Maryland My Maryland's original lyrics at least were kind of badass for the time. Talking smack against Abe Lincoln and such. Like hell they'd use them anymore. And it's not as if the national anthem did not steal the hook from an old drinking song.
