Club Reviews: Discretion vs Usefulness

sc_guyNew York
Guys read the reviews on TUSCL to help decide which clubs are worth visiting. The reviews can be especially useful for those traveling out of town. But I've been wondering if some reviews jeopardize things for dancers and/or the clubs.
Let's say a dancer provides extras, or simply offers them. That's information that would be useful for club-goers, giving them a clearer picture of what the establishment is like, whether or not they actually want something extra. But can the specifics get a dancer in trouble with the club's owner or, even worse, the authorities? So in our effort to help other club-goers, can we be hurting the people and places we enjoy? If so, is there a solution?

last commentThat's why many of us only share the down & dirty intel thru PM's with other PL's that we trust. Only an idiot brags all over an open public post about UHM or mentions dancers names.

Glad to see that, lopaw. I haven't been a TUSCL member for all that long, so I'm still learning my way. But I've seen some comments that make me uncomfortable. In some cases, I think guys are just making things up. In others, they're just not using their heads.
Thanks.

After what we see in the news about CIA and NSA, I think it's safe to assume that local police can and will surf this site for clues for the next raid. Use PMs, codes, general language or slang, but not specifics.

I concur with my sister. I've said it too many times already but I'll say it again-I hate rats.

I only mention girls names when I am recommending them for doing "legal activities" especially well. If they do more, then YMWV
If there is something illegal, with no names mentioned, I am sure that LE is watching the club more closely. You are doing the work for LE by bragging.

My recommendation:
If you mention a dancer's stage name, don't mention anything specific regarding activities.
If you mention activities, especially anything involving extras, never mention a dancer's name.
The only exception to the above guideline might be if a dancer was a rob (promised something, took your money, and failed to deliver on promises), then I'll often mention her stage name in an effort to warn other customers.

I flagged reviews stating X dancer does X sex act for X price, but they never got removed. Reviews like that throw dancers and the clubs that turn a blind eye under the bus.

Yeah, generally speaking, I try to avoid naming names. If you say a club is great, it can generally be assumed there's great talent there. On rare occasion, I've brought up a dancer in particular in the hope she'd get more business, but only if she was ridiculously good and also clear about rules.

I never mention a stripper's name in any post about what we do. As a lawyer for the past 31 years I realize that most cases solved by the police are solved because a rat rats someone out or the police happen to be sitting there when the crime occurs. Surfing this site and SCL is far easier than going outside and doing work in the winter.

Some and only some of the clubs I've been to i would say no, it would not get the ladies in trouble. I say this simply because after a slow night at a couple of the these clubs I've walked by a few ladies talking to either DJ'S and or bouncers complaining about how cheap the guy's were trying to be that particular and that she could go out on the street in front of the club and make more for sex than she was getting offered inside.
So that is why i also try not to mention a ladies name and any extra activities we may or may not have in the open forum
