I recently returned to Austin after six months in Fort Worth/Dallas. I really enjoyed the clubs in the Dallas area (esp. NW area). I'm now back in Austin and just as it was when I left the strip clubs suck big time compared to big D.
As far the Austin strip clubs go the dancers are either too fat or too ghetto. Somehow I need to get my company to send me to Dallas for another six weeks or perhaps a transfer.
Austin is a great town. But I you like strip clubs like I do, the options are limited.

That sounds like your best option. Get transfered and live there in Dallas.
Sounds like you need to plan out some weekend road trips. Leave Friday afternoon make the three hr drive, enjoy clubs on Friday and Saturday, return Sunday.
