Tijuana Hotels

Heading to San Diego next week on business and will spend some time in Tijuana. Has anyone spent the night at Hotel Cascadas or any of the other hotels in Zona Norte? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

In my opinion SD is so close to the border just stay there ! Unless you are feeling brave the hotels are rough and I would say not worth the risk.

I haven't stayed in TJ in over a decade. SD is a better choice. Back in the day, we'd crash out on the beach in sleeping bags.

devl_dawgg, you're going to get a mess of comments of like the one above from the xenophobes here (no offense, Alucard ;) but blood does not run through the streets of TJ. I've been looking at those hotels and I recommend reading the reviews on tripadvisor.com (It's like tuscl but for hotels instead of strip clubs :)
