Miller showed little reaction as the verdict was read.
After questioning from the defense, District Judge Ray Wheless determined that Miller was indigent and that an attorney would be appointed to handle her appeal.

I think she would have gotten off much lighter if she had argued the guy was crazy. I mean he proposed to her within 30 minutes of meeting her. He was obviously deranged and sick. She had a crazy person coming after her.
