Prostitution, drugs and murder alleged at senior center

76 year old Mary Oliver lived at Baptist Tower, a ten-story senior living facility in southwest Atlanta. In late June, police say, another resident stabbed her to death.
"Ms. Oliver was stabbed to death in her sleep after her door was kicked in. And her children thought she was safe," said attorney Christopher Chestnut, who represents her two daughters.
Chestnut says the facility's security cameras either didn't work or weren't monitored. A gate that protects the lot didn't work, he says.
"There was time for my mom to be saved and still be alive," said Jan Jacobs, once of Mrs. Oliver's daughters. "There was not security inside (when she was killed). The security guard was standing outside smoking a cigarette, watching the unlocked gate that was broken."
Mrs. Oliver's daughters say Baptist Tower's security became noticeably lax over the last two years -- allowing some residents to buy drugs and hire prostitutes.
"(I saw a prostitute) out there at the back at a picnic table having oral sex with a guy," said Ellen Hall, another of Mrs. Oliver's daughters.
The facility declined to respond to the allegations. When we visited the facility, a voice at an intercom ordered us off the property.
The suspected killer, Geary Otis, is at the Fulton County jail on a murder charge -- held without bond. Geary is also charged with aggravated assault on another Baptist Tower resident the same day he allegedly killed Mrs. Oliver.

There is no telling what they could be up to.
I can imagine Juice and Shadowcat in the same senior home years from now.
