"The Anderson Tapes" (1971) - Watched this last night.
The background framework of this film's plot seems to be TORN from recent headlines vis-Ã -vis the IRS. LOL

LOL, that was an awesome comment
"I'll get you, my pretty ... and your little dog, too!"
*The Anderson Tapes was Magraret Hamilton's last film appearance.
Motörhead - it's amazing that anyone would know that other than her children. Oh, Motörhead Hamilton.
I knew it too, but that was not my reason for starting the thread. We movie buffs know lots of odd facts. LOL
Dougster hasn't posted yet. Must not be anything in Wikipedia about it.
^^^ LOL
He needs to try IMDB.
Seen it four times, maybe. Sean Connery, Martin Balsam, with Garret Morris in the supporting cast. Martin Balsam's character was a career criminal who was openly gay (in a 70's movie?) I love the scene at the end when all of the LE agencies have to deal with their illegal tapes.
And it was the IRS snooping on them.
Ring any BELLS??????????
