Man charged with flashing incident at Ferndale drive-thru

Woman says Jhuty Ntcher Kem made lewd gestures, pulled his pants down while at McDonald's off Woodward Avenue

FERNDALE, Mich.
A 52-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly flashing a woman in a Ferndale McDonald's drive-thru. Police said a 24-year-old woman told them Saturday she was in line at the fast food restaurant at 2252 Woodward Avenue when then man started walking toward her making lewd gestures. He then pulled down his pants, exposing himself to her, before walking into the restaurant, police said. Jhuty Ntcher Kem, a Royal Oak resident, was arrested by police in the restaurant's bathroom. He is charged with a count of indecent exposure. Police said the same woman had called police about Kem on Dec. 13, when he had made a lewd gesture at her while she was walking down the sidewalk near Woodward and Maplehurst. Police hadn't been able to find him that time. His bail was set at $1,500
