HSV-1 is a type of herpes. Mostly affects the mouth, but you can get it "down under" too.

My reasoning is that the bacterial STDs are easy to treat with anti-biotics, and the HIV is dang near impossible for a straight non drug using white guy to get.

HPV dang near everyone who has had sex already has.

I guess I should be worried that I will get HSV eventually, but the reality is that herpres is most often asymptomatic if (more likely when) I do get them, and hardly ever sevre. Bustanutz: one thing to keep in my is that most STD clinics will not test for herpes unless you explicitly ask for it or you show symptoms. So it's quite possible that people have herpes but don't know, and might even guess they were tested for it when they weren't. I explicitly asked for that test and forked over the extra money.

Estimates I've read are that 80% of escorts and clients have herpes. For strippers it's hard to guess. If they are doing ITC or OTC the numbers are there, but they tend to be younger so less time up have been exposed.
