So I was curious and went to an erotic video store. It said live girls and that pitiqued my interest. So from what I remember being told, it was you sit behind a booth I think and watch a girl dance and get nude for $30 for 8 minutes. So I'm thinking hmm, this sounds an aweful lot like live pornography to me (they also said you can masterbate). But its live though, but you can't touch. I didn't enter though since I was skeptical AND the girls weren't to my flavor (bust/ass sizes, ethnicity, etc). So I ask you the readers, do you think a peep show is worth the money? Sorry this is so short (had more to say) but I'm on my phone, so please forgive the bad grammar.
I've done a few and haven't been too impressed. As you said, the girls are usually less than bone-able. Although I usually impress myself by getting off anyway, but then it doesn't usually take much.
For the money, I'd rather have a couple/three LDs from the honeys in my favorite club.
Fifteen or twenty years ago these places used to be everywhere. I don't know of any still around in my area today. There were very popular and many of the girls were very cute. After a while they would cut a small hole in the glass/plexiglass for tipping the dancers. Dancers and customers soon learned that hands and other body parts would fit through the tip holes. Business improved dramatically.
Guess when touching became so commonplace in strip clubs, these places started to loose their appeal.
In olden times in NYC (we're talking late 70's/early 80's), some places featured naked girls on a stage surrounded by peep-show style booths. The customer could walk in a booth, drop a token into a slot and a plastic window shield would rise up. It revealed a hole through which to see the stage and a slot big enough to get an arm through. For a buck or two in the tip slot, a naked girl would walk up and you could feel her.
You had to be quick about it though, because the little plastic shield would close after only a minute or so. The image that sticks in my mind most was, when angling my head in a little ways so I could look down the row of open windows, seeing all the arms of my fellow mongers hanging into the stage area either feeling up girls or beckoning for them to come over. Surreal it was, and part of the good ol' days which, unfortunately, are no longer around.
I wasn't aware these existed anymore either. As others said, it was common back in the 80's. So sure, I went a few times back then.
I went to one when I was out of town and this girl was hot. I mean smokin'. Better than most strippers today. And I discovered a girl closer to home that was an 8 or 9. I probably went back to her 3 or 4 times always hoping she would be working.
Though - I always felt it was "dirty" or humiliating. Something about a girl fingering her pussy a few feet away from me while I sat there, pants around my ankles, jerking off - well it just seemed weird. But that was 30 yeas ago. I don't feel that way at all about strip clubs, thank God.
I'm a young buck so I'm still learning as I go along. But it seems its definetely not worth the money to go to a peep show. Plus I realized something. How well do they clean those booths? If people are allowed to masturbate and get their jizz all over the seats, I'm sitting on dried cum EWWWWWWWWWW. Guess I'll stick to free internet porn then. Doesn't cost me a dime and I know my sheets are clean. (I don't wack off).
Motorhead - It's amazing how something initially weird can seem normal after a while. I've sat there many times with my dick in my hand jerking off to a naked spread-eagle girl barely a foot or two away. Somehow, the fact that it was live and she was talking dirty the entire time would get me off, no problem. Haven't done it in decades now, although more recently the VIP scene at Bogart's had a similar effect on me.
Estafador - Back in the day, the good places kept the booths pretty clean with frequent Pine-Sol moppings. In the not-so-good places, I just whacked off while standing and never touched the walls and floors. Instead, I'd just add my own jizz to whatever was already dried and crusty on the partition plexiglass.
thank you alucard for your support. You don't know how much of a rarity it is to be believe and you have my sincere appreciation. Though I'm wondering if being an amazing "Extreme Rarity" is a good thing. I hate the look of my own cum (don't care if its mine), and the feel of it on my hands (legs too, yeah I do once in a while have a wet dream.....why am I telling you all this lol). And now that you said that, hmm, I better start bringing a throw away towel every time I go to the strip club (didn't know strip clubs can get so raw, you'd have bjs on the public seats). EWWWWWWWWWW

Rod- you brought a smile to my face. One of the things about TUSCL I enjoy is the trips down memory lane. And it seems like many of us "old" posters shared similar experiences.
The smell of Pine-Sol that permeated all the peep show booths (with or without live girls) stlil resides in my memory cells today. While that smell re-assured me of the cleanliness of the booth - to this days it's not a pleasant one.
Young guys - remember this was before the internet, VCRs, DCDs, and all-u-can touch strip clubs. There weren't a lotta of options.
Many "ligerie clubs" jack shacks where the girl gets naked (for a tip of course)in front of you while you jerk off. Crazy Horse Theater in San Francisco was that way in the lap dance area with some of the girls.
Mitchell Brothers in San Francisco used to have a peep show room where you'd get in a little booth with a window onto a big stage. If you dropped a tip into a slot one of the girls would come over and "dance" in front of your window.
Some time in the early 90s they removed the glass and the girl would come right into the booth with you. It was quite a surprise the first time I visited after they did that!
Motorhead-- I had forgotten about the Pine-Sol smell. I don't understand why that smell might bother you. If you think back about most of those places (pretty dingy for those of you not old enough to remember) that smell was welcome to me. Can you imagine what those places would have smelled like WITHOUT the pine-Sol?

That's what the internet is for.
How do you know that you aren't sitting on dried cum at any club. Do you personally watch the area get cleaned? LOL
