Business meetings at stripclubs, traveling HELP!

I do business meetings at stripclubs, sometimes depending on my clients vibe. This is a case where I will be traveling to, New York City this weekend. I'm not very familiar with the clubs there, and need a little expertise. I don't care about the money, just a classy atmosphere where my clients and I will wear our suits. Scores has so-so reviews, and not sold on that club so much. I fly into NY on Friday evening. A club like Tootsies as far as different types of women. Thank You

Flashdancers without a doubt.

Especially in the day time and early evening, you'll find that most of the clientele is high-end and right off wall street, etc. They do serve food (sushi included) if you wish to order from upstairs. It's not cheap, but it's good.

The girls won't disappoint either. Most are eastern european but there's usually some latinas/exotic looking women in the mix as well.

You have business meetings in stripclubs, and you claim it on your expenses, the revenue dept or IRS (is thet the right letters) allow that?

For what it's worth, anything you charge to a credit card at Flashdancers will show up as if it's some restaurant.

A lot of people charge strip clubs to business, the same way they can charge going to a bar/restaurant.

I've even heard of escorts being put down as a business expense...but that's pretty sketchy.

Just like, GSV explained, alot of people have meetings at stripclubs. The dinner and drinks are a business expense, along with airline tickets, and transportation. Lapdances are NOT an expense. That is considered a luxury, that many clients and I partake in. Alot of times I take clients out to a fancy restaurant prior to stripclubs. Breaks the ice andyou get a sense of personality at the restaurant prior to the SC experience once everyone has a few drinks.

I have done a lot of clubbing in NYC when I have been up on business; but I have always flown solo, never with clients.

I think I would agree about Flashdancers. Rick's would be my second choice. They also have a decent restaurant on the second floor. Rick's has a larger variety of girls, in my opinion. But the girls at Flashdancers are a notch higher overall.

If money and mileage aren't an issue, you could also try Penthouse and/or Hustler. I have never been to either, so I can't help you there.

BTW, how does one get to be your client? That sounds like a nice gig to me.

Penthouse Executive Club. It is insanely expensive and I would never go there by myself, but if I was entertaining clients at a club it is probably the place I would choose. Glitzy, good open space in one part as well as sevral private room options. It also has a good steak house in the second floor and, from my understanding, they will waive the cover if you have dinner reservations.

Another reason why I would choose PE is that it is very hard to get into a lot of trouble there. Now this sucks when we are mongering, yet another reason why I never go to PE on my own. However, when I take clients out, I want them to have a great time but not TOO great a time. The last thing I want is one of my clients getting drunk and going back for a quick blowjob. As I always say in these situations, I may be a whore but I'm not a pimp.

Rick's would be my second choice.

My business is a Business Developer. I do make sure my clients don't get shit-faced plastered, so they won't regret certain "entertainment" the next morning. I've had a client who brought his wife, she suggested stripclub hopping. That took me for a loop.

My hat's off to you - business meetings at stripclubs, that's old school, man!

I don't even dare put dinner at Hooters on my company card - our accounting dept has no sense of humor.

This brings back some memories of the olden days. I haven't had a business meeting at a strip club in 20 years. Long ago, few women were in management and you could expect most business people to welcome a trip to the strip club. It was fun and relaxing and very innocent compared to what goes on today.

The Penthouse Executive Club also has Robert's Steakhouse on the second floor. As rickdugan said,it is ridiculously expensive. Dinner alone can run around $150 per person. The charges on a credit card show up as Robert's and not Penthouse. The girls also circulate around the restaurant, so you can get an LD with dinner if you like. If it's a business meeting then you don't have to worry about the outrageous costs of the VIP rooms.

As I read this post, I kept thinking about the Fiesta Bowl and the executives there getting in hot water for expensing a trip to a strip club among other lavish trips. But I think they were expensing LD's.

My father retired from Business Development, and he gave my the idea. Father knows BEST!! I'm in my mid 30's and I plan on passing handing down the torch to my son, when I have one. Tony Soprano ran Bada Bing while having his business meetings there. My kinda guy if ya ask me!
