For anyone who followed or chimed in on my discussion about trying to get a bartender at a SC (where she used to strip) back on stage -- tuscl.net :
As I noted, she's also mgmt. Mgmt are employees, not independent contractors like strippers. So (contrary to what I thought) she can't legally dance at the SC. Some of the most depressing news I've ever heard.

Was at John's Hot Spot last week where I observed a waitress doing a two-dance set on the stage. Great pole work so she was obviously experienced, but I had never seen a club allow a server to dance during her waitress shift. Anybody else seen this phenomenon?
Yes, once about 12 years ago at a dive in Memphis. I asked the waitress why. She said that they were short on dancers.
