I noticed that there are a percentage of married men allowed to go to Hooters (as opposed to a SC). I guess some wives feel that although he'll look at Hooters, no one will touch him.

With that said, there's a Hooters in North Houston that is always packed. Personally, I don't like crowds and I don't like to just look.

The problem I find is that many of the Hooters girls are undesirable to me. I see plenty of older women or girls that use push-up bras to maximize their limited cleavage. When I do come across a location with some young, perky trixies, I do frequent. I like the seafood, onion rings, and beer. The oysters have been off the menu since the Gulf oil spill. That shucks.

I find a fair share of hot waitresses at other chain restaurants: Texas Roadhouse, Applebees, Lonestar, Houlihans, etc. Sure you don't get the orange shorts and low-cut top, but these girls are just as likely to provide takeout. I have been after the hostess at my local Applebees as of late.

A few of us used to go often for lunch or a couple of beers after work. I found some of the food good, and had a favorite or two. As we became "regulars", we had our own favorites waiting on us. Pretty much always a good time with a lot of sexual innuendo.

A couple of years ago there were two ex Hooters waitresses dancing at the Columbia Platinum Plus. They wore their Hooters uniform on stage and usually danced together on stage. My reports are that they did not give the best of lap dances.

I agree, nothing special about Hooters girls. As you move upscale on the food chain, so to speak, the waitstaff generally get better looking. Trendy restaurants especially. I'd rather gawk at an awesome ass in black Dickies, than cottage cheese turkey legs in Hooters shorts, which is often the situation.

Only been to Hooter's once - 10 years ago. Went with my wife and one of her single (divorced) girlfriends who was thinking about working there and wanted to see what it was all about.

I wasn't very impressed. Looking at 'em is only half the fun, you know. Wife was pissed because her clothes smelled like grease afterward.

She did mention that I don't stare at her that much these days....

My opinion on Hooters restraunts in general are that they have great food. Their wings are excellent as well as other menu items. As far as the girls,yes, they are cute, but nothing else. I go there for their food and nothing else. I mean think about their uniforms, orange short shorts and a tight top. Big fricking deal. It really shouldn't mean much to us strip club visitors, for Pete's sake.

To me, I'd rather go to a hip bar or club... plenty of scantily dressed females ranging in age and looks.

Hooters is like JV vs Strip Clubs Varsity and up. At SC you get to feel them.

Hooters has okay food. I agree that the seafood is probably the best along with their wings.

Now the girls at Hooters are generally very pretty to beautiful. And their clothes are skimpy enough so that you can tell what kind of body they have. Push up bras may give a girl cleavage, but they can't hide the breast size.

I go there for some quick food, to see some nice tits and ass, and to warm me up for the SC visit.

Generally Hooters girls will talk and flirt with you and we generally have a good time. So yea, its a nice place to visit for a diversion.

I feel awkward going to eat at hooter's alone unless I sit at the bar, which means I might end up getting stuck with a male bartender. No thanks! I'll go to a strip club where I will not be the only guy there alone by himself. The last time I went to have lunch at hooter's the waitress was not hot and I was the only person there sitting by himself the others were families with children. The children/kids's menu at hooter's kills the vibe for me. I like it at strip clubs where parents are not allowed to bring their children along

I might add that some Hooter girls have "graduated" to Playboy playmates and some to dancers.

If you don't think they are hot, you should attend your local Hooters bikini contest. It is generally held in April. The winners go to Vegas every July for Miss Hooters International. In 2009 a Latina girl from Baton rouge, LA won the title.

So go to Hooters, eat some wings, and chat with some nice girls that one day might dance for you in your favorite SC.

Lots of talk about Hooter's women. Having been going to them since the inception on the west coast of Florida, as I recall, I have visited many throughout their many locations. I will tell you one thing, those outside of Florida usually do not match up to those in in Florida. And south Florida is better than central and north Florida. Also, in south Florida, there are some locations that always have the hottest women and those that don't. Why, no idea, but that has been my observation.

BTW, the worst was when I went to the Grand Opening of one in Centerville, Ohio! MOOOOOOOOOO!

For those of you who think Hooters' wings are good, what kind of crack are you smoking? Greasy, breaded, with no flavor at all. The naked ones aren't any better, just greasier.

Go to almost any wing place in Buffalo and try theirs, and *then* tell me Hooters' are still worth anything at all. If you can't get to Buffalo, BW3s serves acceptable wings, if you get the regular style.

My local Hooters happens to have some top-notch talent. One is actually in the 2011 calendar. They also have a hostess (meaning she's probably not old enough to wait tables, yet) is the hottest girl I have seen in a long time. If she were dancing at a SC, I'd spend the farm on that!

Yup, for me Hooters tends to be a nice warm-up for SC activity.
When I visit a new city, first place I google is Hooters to see some local talent a the nearest one. Plus, the greasy food makes it easier to drink later that evening. Later I head to a SC for the real fun. I have to admit that many Hooters have some less than attractive help, though. So often it's a wasted trip. It's really hit or miss. If the SC has a buffet, I'll try that before I head to a Hooters.

Warm-up? What's the matter with warming up at the strip club? It's not like there's any actual prep work needed, like for a marathon or something.

Nice thing about hooter's is you know you are going to be limited in your spending. However, I prefer using porn to warm up for strip club.

I go to Hooters quite a bit. In fact, when I was in Fort Myers, I went to the Hooters of Fort Myers 3 times!

I like stopping at Hooters if I'm hungry and the strip clubs are not going to be busy for a little while. I like the Hooters burger. It might taste better because drinking beer can have that effect. I also eat fries but Hooter's fries are not the best. I like the fries to be much thicker but still a bit crispy. Hooters fries are like stringy fast food fries with some dry ends. If they were to just cook some large crinkle cut french fries so they are much thicker and crispy than the regular Hooter fries, I might eat there a lot more.

I like looking at some of the Hooter girls, not all of them. They aren't all my type. I do remember one hot dancer who stopped working at one strip club. I ran into her at 2 different strip clubs and then at Hooters working as a waitress. If it wasn't by accident, she might have thought I was stalking her. She already had a very steady boyfriend so she not available. I ran into her yet again working at the same strip club working as the bartender. She was studying to be a veterinarian. I talked to her a bit when she was working the bartending job at the strip club. Former Hooter's girl, former strip club dancer for at least 3 different strip clubs in 3 months, and a former favorite dancer at one of those, plus she did some modeling pics with Penthouse I believe. She did all that and is now probably just a vet.

NOBODY GOES TO HOOTER'S FOR THE WINGS

I might eat at Hooters more often if the restaurant did not close at 1 AM on Saturday night. I don't like to eat and drink fast before they close up. If a Hooters restaurant was right next door to a strip club I already visit, I would probably visit there a whole lot more often. If Platinum Plus and Hooters teamed up to create a separate very close walk in restaurant so that I could walk back and forth without paying extra to gain admission back to Platinum Plus, I would likely eat there a lot. Adding pepperoni pizza would be a plus.

I do go to Hooters for primarily the food and drinks. The Hooters girls are the plus that might make me go there instead of say Wendy's or Burger King. Plus how fast I want to eat. If I don't want to take much time or they are going to close and it's too late, I won't visit. Plus they are not always convenient to my location in between strip clubs.

If all I wanted to see were the girls, I would just go to a strip club and forget about Hooters.

I guess I"m in the minority, but I find the food average and the prices high. Less than stellar girls to look at in my experience... I'll pass.

I go to the local Santa Monica Hooters occasionally, if I'm in the mood for tasty wings. The girls there are easy on the eyes, and they seem to like flirting with me. Last visit I let them sweet talk me into buying a calendar that I can never display and a t-shirt that I can never wear - damn they were good at pouring on the sex appeal to move their merchandise!

hooters - terrible food, sometimes hot chics. i like the multiple tv screens they have and good to see an orange ass walking between downs. but other than that a SC is alot better and some paces have beetter food than hooters but not alot of SC do

The biggest strike against our local hooters... they let their pregnant staff wait tables. A few weeks ago, one of the pregger girls (who was actually one of the least appealing when she WASN'T pregnant) waited on our table. Pregnant, she is pretty much disgusting. We pissed her off by relocating, and experiended the wrath of her and the manager by way of dirty looks the entire time we were there. I don't care... it was worth it. Having an unattractive Hooters girl defeats the purpose of going there.

Another drawback is, as was mentioned, the prices. We joke about the free lunch (after 7 punches on the Hooters card, you get a free lunch) costing about $6.00. That IS pretty sad.

I actually like the food at Hooters. I could be that I'm distracted during my meals there. The problem is that the Hooters nearest me probably has the worst looking girls working there...in the world!

A new local restaraunt has opened (this past Thurs) that is going to give Hooters are real run for their money. In fact, I think I will frequent the new place more than Hooters. I never even heard of the chain before last week, but it's awesome! The Tilted Kilt. The girls "costume" is basically a school girls look, with a plaid MINI skirt, plaid bikini top covered by a white blouse which is WAY open in front, topped with knee high white stockings with a tassle on top. VERY sexy, in my opinion.

The menu (of course who CARES about the menu) has a lot more option than Hooters, and the food seems to be better. If you have one in your area, check it out... if not, check out www.tiltedkilt.com

Sounds very interesting. At least they are in Florida, but, as of yet, to far away for a visit.

DougS, an aquaintance was just mentioning that there was one in Louisville. I may have to go check it out.

GMD, it's worth checking out! I don't know if it's the policy at all Tilted Kilts, but the local one makes sure the girls are constantly circulating and mingling with the customers. They are told that their most important job is to have contact with the customers.

While at TKs during their opening day last week, there wasn't a time when there wasn't at least one girl at my table. (probably helps that I know the owners and the GM, but not all of the girls knew that)
