Two separate cases of prostitution were discovered on May 14 in Hauppauge and Lindenhurst massage parlors, police say.
At Relax Center on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge, three women, Ping Lu, 44, Hui Jie Dou, 52, and Ying Hui Hang, 45, were arrested for offering prostitution on Friday afternoon. All three reside in Flushing, Queens. Jie Dou and Hui Hang were also charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, after police say they found that employees had been performing massages without the required New York State license.
Another police investigation also revealed prostitution activity at Massage Therapy Group on Wellwood Ave. in Lindenhurst, according to police. Karla Melgar, 34, of Hicksville was arrested and charged with two counts of prostitution and one count of promoting prostitution. Yanina Scaffini, 33, of Hickville was arrested and charged with two counts of prostitution.
Police seized massage tables, assorted body oils, lotions, towels, bedding, computers and cash from both of the massage parlors after search warrants was executed. Both businesses had advertised their services on Craigslist and Newsday.
Lu, Jie Dou, Hui Hang, Melgar and Scaffini were held overnight and arraigned on May 15 in Central Islip.
Interesting that a top 10 ranked AMP on eroticmp.com is located in Ohio (Sun Spa in Warren, OH)

Well. I hope that they were voluntarily working as prostitutes instead of being forced into it through human trafficking.
There's nothing wrong with prostitution of course.
