Stalker gets 2+ years in prison for taping ESPN's Andrews nude
The Chicago-area insurance executive who admitted secretly videotaping ESPN reporter Erin Andrews nude in her hotel rooms will spend 2½ years in prison.
Michael David Barrett, 48, pleaded guilty in December to stalking Andrews. Prosecutors said he followed her to at least three cities and shot videos through hotel peepholes.
Barrett apologized tearfully to Andrews, but she was not appeased.
"You violated me and you violated all women. You are a sexual predator, a sexual deviant and they should lock you up," Andrews told Barrett in federal court in Los Angeles, the Associated Press writes. She had asked for a harsher sentence.
Barrett's lawyer said his client is receiving psychological treatment and "has sought the path of redemption."
Barrett was given until May 3 to surrender.

This is an offense that should merit probation, or house arrest. No physical harm. Was it creepy? Yeah.
But she wasn't harmed. If anything, it was good for her career. Now she's going to be on Dancing with the Stars. Not bad for a second or third tier ESPN person.

You should be careful when trying to view copies of this video, since there were plenty of instances of hackers hiding viruses in supposed copies of the video. It really wasn't too long or great a quality video from what I can remember.
