HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. (NASDAQ: RICK), the leading chain of gentlemen's clubs, said today sales at its nightclubs in November 2009 rose 12.2 percent over November 2008.
The company said sales at its clubs totaled $6.14 million for the month, compared with $5.47 million last November.
Same club sales were up 9.5 percent for the month, to $5.9 million, compared with $5.39 million the previous November.

Sam, if there was an explanation as to why sales improved, you left it off. That's the best part!
No I don't know the reason why sales are increasing at their strip clubs. I did email their CEO asking if they will ever build clubs in Columbus. He surprised me by replying in a timely manner ("message was sent from his iphone") and he said he wanted to eventually have clubs in every major city. Good to see that this CEO is willing to take the time to interact with customers.
Wow, Sam! You've got connections now. Chances are though he won't find Columbus very lucrative due to their Puritanical restrictions.
Deja Vu has a presence here in Ohio with Toledo and Cincinnati clubs. Christie's Cabaret has a presence here with their Canton, Brunswick, and Cleveland clubs. But no Rick's or Spearmint Rhinos in Ohio.
