  I have been to the DR many times and never through an agency. It is very possible to do the trip by yourself. I prefer to fly into Puerto Plata and spend my time in Sosua (10 minutes from the airport by taxi). Hotels are about $30US per night. You will be able to pick up chicas at all of the bars. They will come to you.

  If your destination is chicas, may I suggest Costa Rica. From what I have read and talking to guys that have been there, the prices and quality are hard to beat. But beware. Any tourist traps can ask more.

  Costa Rica is the place to go. There are only two places I can ever see myself realistically paying for sex. One is Amsterdam, the other is Costa Rica. It's an amazing country, the currency exchange is wonderful, the women are gorgeous and the price is always right. They get more and more foreign women every day... it used to be all Tica's (Costa Rican Women) but now there getting more from everywhere in South America and slowly mroe from Europe and beyond. Plus it's totally legal. If they ever legalize marijuania they will be the "new" Amsterdam.

  If you ever have the chance to go to Thailand, don't pass it up. I get to go on business, so the flight and hotel are paid for. The girls that are available are top notch, and the price is more than right.

  Also be careful because I have read that the girls they post on their website are usually not the girls working when you go down. The girls they have work are not nearly as gorgeous as the ones on their websites...and of course they airbrush and manipulative the photography to make them look better on camera than in person.

  I have not done the DR but have read up on it and it seems that using an agency may actually be counter-productive – you’ll probably end up paying “Gringo/American” prices and your selection may be more limited. I’m a Hispanic guy out of Miami and thus know most Latin communities pretty well (we have all of them down here). My experience w/ DR women has not been very positive *personally* - they are bitchy; often have bad attitudes; and are way more concerned about how much they can get off you ($$$) than about showing you a good time – just my personal opinion/experience. Although I have not been – I have pretty much heard nothing but positive things about Costa Rica. My older married brother has 2 friends that go there multiple times a year and they don’t bother to spend a cent in the U.S. for p4p and rather save it for Costa Rica. One of them likes to gamble and goes b/c they have some nice Casinos there and even there one can find great looking working chicas. My bro has been told (as another poster noted) that they have chicks from other countries also including Venezuelan beauties; Colombian knockouts, some Brazilian hotties; etc. Yes – do your homework – plus Costa Rica is much less of a dump than DR and they even has some nice touristy things to do such as nice beaches and even rain forests. Hope you give us a trip report if you end up going.

  There have been several threads over the years about sex vacation destinations, including DR. The advertiser who revived this old thread is one of about a dozen "all inclusive" sex vacation providers in the Dominican Republic. There are other package options, most just as good and less expensive. But, if you are interested in a vacation filled with strange pussy, instead of a package trip, just go to the DR and explore! First, prostitution is legal in the DR and the local attitudes about sex are VERY different from the US. Second there are places - all over the island - where financially enhanced sex is easily available. Most strip clubs there have in-house rooms specifically for sex and also have posted prices for take out. Then, there are places like "Blackbeard's" where you can rent a room for a day or a week and have your choice of dozens of young women who are on premises specifically to show you a very good time. The All Inclusive prices in the DR vary significantly and so does the service/quality, but the price tag does not indicate quality. The individual ladies on the island are generally available for much less than you might imagine. "Per hour" (actually, the norm is about 2 hours time spent) prices might run anywhere from $40 US up to $80 (anything more and you are overpaying). But even better are hooking up with a chica for an overnight of longer. Some of these young women will join you for days, cook, blow you, straighten your room, fuck wildly, shop for groceries, do a striptease, act as tour guide, fuck some more - all for less than $200 a day. Papi's comments about DR chicas with bad attitudes may be true for those in the US (on that, I bow to his experience), but it does NOT match my experience in the DR. Truly, many of these young women behave as if they know they are beautiful and desired (mostly because the are very beautiful and desirable) but in my experience they also appreciate the experience and the money they get from being with Americans (mostly US and Canada) Most speak some English, though knowing a little Spanish is very helpful because very few are conversational in English. In the DR, these women can earn in one month of "partying" more than a skilled laborer earns in a year. These are NOT sex slaves, oppressed by pimps, or forced into prostitution. These young women generally choose to experience money and exotic foreign men for a few years. But do be careful, there are many women from Haiti "working" in the DR - stay away from them. It is also worth noting that women in the DR are radiantly beautiful. The island mixes native Indian, Spanish, African and Anglo into a look than is pleasing to the eye and to the touch. They are light skinned to very dark, blue eyed to brown, blonds to nappy black haired, but almost always beautiful.

  Agreed @joem2 comment is bogus, I have been to Dr.Nights three times, they operate out of a beachfront resort so that comment about having to go to 3 resorts is bullshit. The resort is accurately depicted on their website, I always request the swim up suite. Dr.Nights is the top dog for sex vacations therefore I do understand how competitors like to throw rocks at the throne, but it is uncalled for, These people are well intentioned and treated me like a king.

  This is a really helpful thread, since my next sex trip will be D.R most likely after already experiencing CR one time and TJ probably too many times. Thank you all contributors. I found some interesting package deals when I was googling earlier, where you spend 1500 for a week with a girl, which sounds great ( I like getting to know one girl ).. but I also like the advice to sideswipe the package dealers, and just go to the bars you're mentioning, together with the advice about the attitude of sex in the DR, and being able to find 2 hour girls, for 80 usd.
