The opening scene of American Gigolo with Richard Gere driving along the PCH and “Call Me” playing is one of my top 3 or 4 favorite openings
Love that scene and I always tell people to listen to her song Rapture, because she raps in this song from 1981, 2 years after Rapper's Delight, well before rap went mainstream.

Blondie's Debbie Harry, was my favorite, my girlfriend at the time, knew her as a friend, and we went to a few of her early unpaid shows, at a small place in the East Village, she had a first hit called One Way Or Another, then CBGB signed her and she became a mega star. I thought she was great, she was sexy as hell.
