Love that scene and I always tell people to listen to her song Rapture, because she raps in this song from 1981, 2 years after Rapper's Delight, well before rap went mainstream.
^Me know. Been a huge fan since the first day Heart of Glass hit the radio. Grace slick was amazing as well. Nicki Minaj is simply fucking ick. Wtf is wrong with you. Ugly as sin. Totally fake. No talent.
Blondie's Debbie Harry, was my favorite, my girlfriend at the time, knew her as a friend, and we went to a few of her early unpaid shows, at a small place in the East Village, she had a first hit called One Way Or Another, then CBGB signed her and she became a mega star. I thought she was great, she was sexy as hell.
Im going with Pink. I don't like her politics, but that's got nothing to do between the sheets. Also Shakira. They don't need to qualify for Social Security to be hot and have made good music.

last commentI was happily surprised to see Lita Ford as the first link I clicked. As far as I am concerned, the list begins and ends with Lita Ford.

The opening scene of American Gigolo with Richard Gere driving along the PCH and “Call Me” playing is one of my top 3 or 4 favorite openings

Love Blondie. Every song on Parallel Lines is a banger. Picture this!
Samantha Fox is no where near worthy to be on a list with the other two.

Stevie Nicks would have been a better fit

I’m embarrassed to say I like a Broadway Showtune, but if I could find a girl in the club like this, I’m afraid she’d break me.

For a more current band, I'm liking a lot of Wet Leg tunes. Rhian Teasdale, the lead singer, came to mind when I read this post.

Nicki Minaj is hot, but her music is the same mass-produced, unartistic pop shit that populates the airwaves these days.
