  I watch my back everytime I hear "Dueling Banjos". If I hear that in a bank, or car dealer, I walk out. I have yet to hear that in a stripclub, but neither have I heard songs like "Ravels Bolero", or "Last Tango In Paris" in a stripclub.

  Good choice, Mr. Johnson. I think that was Ned Beatty's first film role. He went on to have a great career as a character actor, but never became a sex symbol, purty lips and all. But Burt Reynolds did. Go figure.

  Absolutely, hands down: Body Heat with a young Kathleen Turner. Oh yeah, William Hurt was in the scene with her too, but who the hell cares. She was smokin' back in 1981 and this movie just let her smolder.

  "Don't Look Now" by Nic Roeg, starring Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. Julie may have been one of the most naturally gorgeous ladies on Earth in her prime. And one scene in "Don't Look Now" is as real and immediate as any love scene you will see. As a bonus, the movie is fantastic, and surprisingly terrifying.

  "The Color of Night" with pixie-like Jane March having crazy sex through half of the movie with Bruce Willis. The movie itself is a half-decent psychological mystery/thriller. The sex and nude scenes with March are some of the best "soft-core porn that isn't really soft-core porn" that I've seen.

  laxplayer, good call on Jane March, but if you want to see her at her sexual best, watch Annaud's "L'Amant" a/k/a "The Lover." Make sure it is the unrated version, which is 12 minutes longer. Those 12 minutes are very steamy. One of the scenes sparked debate about whether there was actual penetration between March and her co-star. Regardless, she's absolutely uninhibited, and gorgeous.

  Another great scene from another very well-made movie that also happens to be directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud:
  
  17-year old Christian Slater getting schooled by Valentina Vargas in "The Name of the Rose." Vargas looks amazing in this scene, and seems like a sexual force. I think Vargas surprised both Slater and the director. The scene is memorable. BTW, I think, based on the narration in the movie, that Valentina was the "title" character, although her screen-time is limited and she is never identified in the movie nor the credits. She's merely listed as "The Girl," much as Jane March was listed only as "The Young Girl" in "L'Amant."

  deogol- My initial thoughts are the same as yours- not on my wish list of scenes to see. Fact remains that many people have seen it- while not likeable, it is unforgetable. As twisted as logic may be, unforgetable could arguably be an adjective that qualifies a scene as great.[ An argument that I don't claim to be a vigorous advocate for].
  
  CCR- Agreed on Body Heat. One unanswered question I've had concerns the scene where WH is doing KT doggie style & KT gasps "D-o-o-n-n't S-s-top!" Was scene portraying "Greek" (anal) option or not??

  Recently a dancer at a club reminded me of someone, but I couldn't place her. When I mentioned it, she said she usually gets Ellen Barkin. Bingo. Got a dance from her and kept having flashbacks to "The Big Easy." Damn, Barkin is hot in that movie. Pretty good in Sea of Love also ... Ah, excuse me, need to log onto Netflix now.
